Kris Murdoch & Diane Jubie - Rug hooking/quilting Tuesday 10am-3pm, Wednesday 2pm-5pm Two local rug hookers (plus quilter and rug hooker Diane Jubie) from Bear River. We are both members of the Moose River Rug Hooking Tuesday Group in Clementsport and have both been hooking for approximately 9 years. Watch rug hookers in action! Margaret Gray - Spinning and dyeing yarn, period costume, Wednesday 10am-5pm I am a fiber artist. I spin and dye my own yarn. A display of different fiber will be available, all from the Digby area. Some dyes that I use are obtained from using plants that are local to Digby. See different pieces of equipment used in the hand spinning process. I have a selection of yarn, fleece and clothing available for purchase, all hand done. Dressed as a Loyalist, Margaret will talk with you about what early life was like in Digby over 200 years ago. Connie Lowe - Pencil and water colour Tuesday 10am-3pm I mainly paint with acrylics but love to dabble with watercolour, pencil & ink. I have been making art for nearly 30 years & have been very involved in the Annapolis Arts Community. Bob and Lynette Lawrence - Batik art, acrylic painting, painting on scallop shells My husband Bob is a painter ( Acrylic) and he paints on Scallop Shells as well on canvas. I have a degree in Fine Arts - Interior Design and I am a painter using many mediums. Aside from that I make Batik Art ( form of fiber arts), Clay Sculpting, Fashion Design, Quilting and Recyleable Arts. Facebook page: I Like It Like That Art Studio

Annie Jenkins - Antique sock maker machine Tuesday 10am-3pm, Wednesday 10am-5pm My machine is 130 years old, made in Ontario Canada. I hand dye (and sometimes hand spin) all my yarn, before knitting them on this incredible piece of history. While the machine was designed to knit any piece of clothing that a family might need, socks are the quickest. As they are also the most time consuming to knit by hand, they are what I have chosen to specialize in. I often offer the opportunity for people to try the machine for themselves, should they be interested. You can find more examples of my work on Facebook, www.facebook.com/anniesobsessions or by following me on Instagram: @fox.n.sox. Clare Thorbes painter Tuesday 10am 3pm, Wednesday 10.30am-2pm Clare Thorbes paints narrative and commissioned portraits of animals and people. Her work is in private collections across Canada and can be viewed at the Flight of Fancy gallery in Bear River, Nova Scotia or on her website (www.clarethorbes.com) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/clarethorbesportraits). Patricia Briltz - Vintage sewing patterns, replicas of antique garments. Tuesday 3pm 8pm, Wednesday 2pm 5pm Highlighted in a display are several of my current sewing patterns, a few actual reproduction garments made from those patterns, as well as upcoming designs. In addition, there are tangible exhibits with examples illustrating my work in progress and some of the skills involved in both drafting historical patterns and reproducing the garments themselves. In fact, I could demonstrate some of the antique garment construction steps and skills "on the spot", along with tools and materials used. Dressed in an authentic replica of a ca.1867 ladies' day gown for the event.

Jay Stone - Wood turning Pieces are turned from local wood and are decorative and functional. Wood turning is like a treasure hunt; you don t know what it will produce until you get into it, and see it turning on the lathe. Hans and Susanna - Riverside Pottery Local pottery. Find us on facebook: Riverside Pottery formerly Bluefin Pottery Mary Saulnier - painting Tuesday 3pm-8pm, Wednesday 2pm-5pm Local watercolours, magnets available. Poppy Balser - Plein air painting Catch Poppy Balser at work anywhere through town. "Gorgeous use of values and color hues to depict moments in the life of her subjects" -Informed Collector Poppy Balser has always lived very near the ocean, mostly within walking distance of the Bay of Fundy. With it's great tides, rich seashore and long-time fishing traditions, the Bay of Fundy is a muse that continually inspires her. She finds that painting en plein air enriches her paintings with a depth found only with direct observation of the subject. "I want others to see what I see. I live in a part of the world with great natural beauty. Painting outside gives me a chance to share our seacoast and rural landscapes. I can examine and explore these subjects closely, creating paintings that resonate with the viewer. Watercolour is the perfect medium for me to capture the atmosphere and light of my local environment." www.poppybalser.com Marcella Edwards - painting Watch Marcella at work creating her masterful pieces. Finished paintings for sale as well

Karen Aaker - Mosaic art Mosaic artist from Bear River. www.karenaaker.com Bob Lambie - Stained glass Stained glass for sale, see the tools used to create these art pieces. Jackie Giguere - painter I am a local artist who was born in Ontario but call Weymouth home. I paint in my spare time and would love to show and sell some of my art. Watch me at work and see how my paintings are created.
