ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODEL SH122110GN and SH122110GY Open shipping crate and separate all of the different parts. Count each part and match up with parts list. Shortages or damaged parts should be reported to. Step 1: 1 Lay out the base rail on the ground as pictured. bolt together with (part 19). Slide base rail pieces together and
Step 2: Assemble the arch top section (part 2, part 4, part 2). Bolt together using (part 19). Insert top of arch into side vertical tubes (part 5). Raise arch vertically and lower into base rail sockets. The end arches use upside bent tubes with rings welded for the doors (parts 1 & 3).
Step 3: Assemble the rest of the arches and install into the base rail.
Step 4: Install the horizontal cross rail between each arch (part 6). Steel plates (Part 18) be placed outside of end arches, acting as a washer for the bolts that hold the cross rails in place. Install bolts (part 19) that holds bottom of arches into base rail sockets. Cover joints where horizontal cross rails meet arches with duct tape to prevent fabric chaffing.
Step 5: Install door panel horizontal cables (part 13). Tighten cable using turnbuckle. Install vertical cable supports (part 14).
Step 6: Install upper door panel (part 26). Secure to frame with shorter buckle straps (part 23). Install lower door panels (part 25). Attach top of door panel to horizontal cable with metal S hooks. Secure sides of door panels to frame, with shorter buckled straps (part 23).
Step 6: Measure. Dimension A to C should be the same as dimension D to B. Measure A to D and B to C. Both outside measurements should be 12 feet or less. Check door panel zippers. If zipper works hard, shorten distance A to D or B to C. B C A D
Step 7: Install four corner stakes (part 15), through the holes in the short section of the base rails.
Step 8: Install 16 earth anchors to the bottom of each arch, inside of base rail. Insert the drive rod (part 28) into the hollow end of the anchor. Using a sledge hammer, pound the anchor into the ground until 6 inches of cable is left exposed. (Pilot holes using a piece of rebar or metal rod, will make driving anchors into the ground much easier). Remove the drive rod and insert it through the loop that is exposed out of the ground. Pull upward, which will set the anchor in place. Secure cable loop ends to bottom of arches, using U shaped brackets (part 17) and bolts (part 19).
Step 9:Install main cover. Spread out main cover, making sure outside is facing down and the pole pockets are parallel to base rail. Assemble the cover conduit, (one part 10 and three parts 11). Slide conduit into pocket at edge of main cover that is farthest away from frame. Tie three pieces of heavy rope to the conduit where it is exposed in the cut outs. Throw the ropes over the top of the frame and pull cover over the top of the frame. Make sure the cover is hanging equal amounts on all four sides. Insert cover conduit into pocket on the other side of the cover. Tighten cover by pulling web straps in the four corners. Secure straps to base rail with ratchets (part 20). Tighten cover on the sides by attaching cover to base rail. Loop ratchet and web strap (part 21) around exposed cover conduit and hooks on the base rail. Tighten equally on both sides. Attach inside ends of main cover to end arches. Loop longer buckle strap (part 22) around end arch and small metal loops on inside edge of cover. Make sure all ratchets and buckle straps are tight. After 30 days, retighten all straps. APPLYING BABY POWDER TO THE OUTSIDE OF ARCHES WILL HELP THE COVER SLIDE OVER THE TOP OF FRAME. If you have any questions about installation, give us a call.
