Page 3 of 9 1.0 OBJECTIVE The objective of this procedure is to provide guidelines on preventive maintenance for electrical riser and distribution. 2.0 SCOPE This procedure shall be applicable for all electrical riser distribution inside Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) building. 3.0 DEFINITION 3.1 Co-X : Convention & Exhibition (Putrajaya) Sdn. Page 7 of 9 Overcurrent fuse ELCB ELCB bypass switch MCCB for incoming supply MCB for distribution supply 6.2 Plan Preventive Maintenance 6.2.1 PPM for Distribution System frequency as per Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Schedule (Co-X/FMD/SOP01-R03). 6.2.2 Safety precautions / general guidelines prior to carry out PPM: 6.2.2.1 Please ensure the safety of all technicians by following safety rules, regulations and PPE (helmet, safety shoes, rubber glove, safety glasses etc.). 6.2.2.2 The PPM shall be carried out by competent person level PW4 and above. 6.2.2.3 Display of safety signage during maintenance activities. 6.2.3 Physical check at SSB / DB panel by visual internally and externally. Ensure panel board has no defect and in good condition. 6.2.4 Physical check of any burn marks at all terminals inside the panel and re-tightening all cables termination point if needed. 6.2.5 Checking point to point for any bad contact at respective panel by using test equipment (e.g. Multi-meter). 6.2.6 Perform functionality tripping test to ensure all circuits still intact for: 6.2.6.1 MCCB 6.2.6.2 RCD / ELCB 6.2.6.3 MCB 6.2.7 Conduct housekeeping of electrical riser room panels and the surrounding.
