Ph: 1300 500 314 Basketball Tower Installation Thank you for your purchase of the Ultra adjustable Basketball system. To ensure that our equipment will provide years of use to you, we are including this installation, operation, and maintenance guide. This guide will provide information on the proper assembly and installation methods, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance of your system. It is recommended that an individual who has been properly trained perform assembly and set up of the backstop. No one under the age of 18 should attempt assembly or set up of the unit, unless properly supervised. To prevent normal wear and tear from shortening the life of the unit, preventative maintenance inspections and repairs should be performed at least once per year. If the units are subject to high or unusual usage, inspections should be scheduled to occur more frequently. If items are found to be nonconforming, replacements can be ordered from one of our authorized dealers. Read and understand the following warnings to prevent possible personal injury and potential damage to the equipment during assembly, setup, and operation. Before proceeding with assembly, read all instructions and assembly procedures. Make sure all parts have been received and are not damaged. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE 1

Use the illustration below to dig and prepare the hole for anchoring the template plate & U-bolt assembly. Check is soil conditions are appropriate for footing before installing system. 5
Set the U-bolt assembly in the concrete as shown below. 6
Raise and place the main column over the U-bolts as shown below. The column is heavy. Use at least two people for this operation. Follow the steps to select the correct nuts and washers. If the column is not exactly vertical, adjust the bottom nuts to make a level base. When the column is vertical, tighten all nuts securely. 7
Follow the steps below to assemble the unit in the proper sequence. See the instructions on the following pages for more detailed information. 8
STEPS 1 & 3: Use the indicated hardware to assemble the actuator plates (4) to the main post (1). Also attach the crank end of the height actuator (5) to the plates. Tighten the hex nuts (23) securely. The nylon locking nut (24) should be snug but not over tight to allow rotation of the actuator. 9
STEPS 2 & 3: Attach the lower extension arms (2) and the actuator tension arm (6) using the indicated hardware. The 18mm plastic bushings (32) must be inserted first as shown. Nylon locking nuts (30) should be snug but still allow movement. 10
STEP 4: Assemble and attach the upper extension arms using the indicated hardware. Be sure to insert the 18mm plastic bushings (32) where shown. The nylon locking nut (30) should be snug but still allow movement. The 12mm nuts (38) should be tightened securely. 11
Attach the top of the Actuator device to the bottom of the Tension arm using the indicated hardware. Note: The goal height is adjustable from 2300 mm to 3050 mm 12
STEP 5: Attach the backboard with the 12mm hardware as indicated below. It is easiest to mount the board with the supporting arms in the full down position. *Helpful hint; Working out of the bed of a truck may be easier than using ladders. The backboard is very heavy. Note: Install the plastic bushing (42) where shown. Make sure that you have enough help to complete this operation safely! 13
STEP 6: Attach the goal with 3/8 (9 mm) hardware as shown below. 14
The following illustration shows how to attach the LSCE60 Pro Mold Recreational Backboard Padding (if purchased). The padding may be attached before or after the backboard has been mounted in final position. 15
Note: The padding options shown below are purchased separately. 16
