INSTALLATION Client Information: The information in this installation instruction is intended for use only by skilled technicians who have the proper tools, equipment, and training to correctly and safely add equipment to your vehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by do-it-yourselfers. 2. Remove the two self-tapping screws, ten short clips, and two long clips from the front bumper. NOTE: Be extremely careful not to damage the body. To prevent damage, rest the front bumper on a blanket or cardboard during the installation. Before removing parts, note their locations so that they can be reinstalled in their original locations properly. 1. Open the hood and remove the radiator cover (eight clips). 2 LONG CLIPS 10 SHORT CLIPS 2 SELF-TAPPING 730302CT 8 CLIPS 3. Release the eight tabs on one side of the vehicle, and pull the front bumper toward you. 4. Remove the front bumper (unplug the two fog light connectors). Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the front bumper. Place the front bumper on the blanket to prevent damage. 6. Remove the center induction plate from the front bumper (five self-tapping screws, four clips, and four retaining tabs). 4 RETAINING TABS CENTER FOG LIGHT CONNECTOR 5 SELF-TAPPING 700908BT 730318AT 7. Remove the left fog light from the front bumper (three self-tapping screws). Remove the right fog light the same way. 5. Remove induction plate A from the front bumper (four clips and five bolts). 8. Remove the left induction plate from the front bumper (one self-tapping screw and two hooks). Remove the right induction plate the same way. 11. Remove the two screws and the four clips from the back of the front bumper. Unhook and remove the front grille from the front bumper. LEFT Slide. HOOK 2 2 HOOKS SELF-TAPPING SCREW 730310BT 730315AT 9. Remove the two bolts and the self-tapping screw from the front bumper, and remove the license plate frame. 12. Using a pushpin, mark the front aero bumper at the center of the marks in the positions shown. This marks the location of the middle license plate frame screw. LOWER PUSHPIN 2 NUTS 2 BOLTS SELF-TAPPING SCREW LICENSE FRAME 700902AT 10. Remove the two nuts from the front lower grille. 13. While wearing eye protection, drill the center induction plate at the two points in the positions shown using a 3 mm bit, and then a 6 mm drill bit. 14. Using a 16 mm hole saw, enlarge the two holes from the opposite side of the center induction plate. Use a file to remove any burrs from the edge of the holes. 16. Install the front grille on the front aero bumper reusing the two screws and four clips that you removed in step 11. Slide. 17. Install the lower grille on the front aero bumper using eight self-tapping screws. AERO 6 RETAINING TABS 20. Install the left induction plate on the front aero bumper reusing two self-tapping screws (one from step 6, and the other from step 8). Reinstall the right induction plate the same way. LEFT AERO 8 SELF-TAPPING 8 RETAINING TABS LOWER 771011AT 18. Reinstall the two nuts removed in step 10 onto the front lower grille. AERO LOWER SELF-TAPPING SCREW Removed in step 8. SELF-TAPPING SCREW Removed in step 6. 21. Install the left fog light on the front aero bumper reusing the three self-tapping screws that you removed in step 7. Install the right fog light the same way. AERO 771002AT 2 NUTS 2 BOLTS SELF-TAPPING SCREW LICENSE FRAME 700904AT 19. 22. Reinstall the center induction plate on the front aero bumper reusing three self-tapping screws and four clips that you removed in step 6. 24. Install the left air spoiler on the front aero bumper using five bolts and five nuts. Install the right air spoiler the same way. 3 SELF-TAPPING CENTER 5 NUTS LEFT AIR SPOILER AERO AERO 5 BOLTS 771005AT 771012BT 23. Reinstall the induction plate A on the front under spoiler using five bolts and reusing the four clips that you removed in step 5. 25.
