Report number: 15/9715-99 Page number 3 of 7 RECEIVED MATERIAL Six (6) samples with the reference that appear in Table 1, as claimed by the petitioner Table 1. Received material references. Ref. Reference of the test specimen dimensions were determined according to Annex B and D of the standard UNE-EN ISO 6892-1:2010, which makes reference to the types of test specimens used for thin products: steel sheet, strips and flat products with thickness between 0,1mm and 3 mm, respectively. In figure 1 test sample used and the machining dimensions is shown.
Report number: 15/9715-99 Page number 4 of 7 Figure 1. Sketch and dimensions of the traction specimen test. 2.1.2.- Test description The traction test was conducted in accordance with the applicable paragraphs of standard UNE-EN ISO 6892-1:2010. Tests were conducted under displacement rate control, at a speed of 1,4 mm min -1 up to a 2% deformation. From this point to failure test was perform in displacement control at a rate of 4 mm min -1. 2.1.3.- Testing equipment For conducting the tensile tests on standard samples were used the following equipment: Tests were performed in a universal test machine, MTS, model 810 and serial number 099334, with a capacity of 100 KN and class 0.5, standard ISO 7500-1:2006, on a calibrated range of 100 KN. Deformation of tests samples was measured continuously during the test, using an MTS extensometer; model 632.12F-20 and serial number 1390, measuring 25 mm in initial length, with maximum opening to traction, 12.5mm. The initial section of the sample and the elongation at break were calculated by measuring several times the thickness, width and the distance between the marks, by means of a MITUTOYO digital caliper, model 500-311 and serial number 31819, with 150 mm of range.
Report number: 15/9715-99 Page number 5 of 7 3.- TESTING CONDITIONS The test was performed at an ambient temperature of 22 ± 1 C. 4.- RESULTS Performed test days Start: June 16, 2015 End: June 16, 2015 Further to conducting the traction test according to the instructions in the Test Method section, the results of nine specimens as requested by the petitioner are summarized in Tables 2-3 and Graphics 1-2: Table 2. The expanded uncertainty of measurement has been expressed as the relative standard uncertainty of measurement multiplied by a factor k = 2 which for a normal distribution corresponds to a coverage probability of approximately 95%.
