Nicole Neila Promoted to Training & Development Manager We are excited to announce that Nicole has been promoted to Training & Development Manager! Nicole joined Rubber Division, ACS in January 2016 and previously held the position of Training & Development Assistant. She received her Bachelors in Adult Education from The University of Akron in December 2011. She also attended Youngstown State University and was a college athlete. Nicole has been a women s basketball coach for 10 years at Manchester High School where she was also a substitute teacher. She brings a varied background in education to her work at the Division and is an asset with the new outreach programs being developed and fine-tuned. Nicole is responsible for facilitating and managing all on-site training, online courses, webinars and publications. In addition, she manages the Student Outreach Program that provides rubber education and tours to science classrooms in a 6-12 setting in hopes of expanding our industry and getting the younger generations interested. Nicole is the staff liaison to the Education and Publications Committee. She is busy working on our 2019 training schedule for our Elastomer Training Center, so be on the lookout for our announcement of our 2019 courses coming soon!
