Positive-oltage Regulator Description The 78xx series are fixed-voltage monolithic integrated circuit voltage regulators designed for wide range of applications. Each of these regulators can deliver up to 1.5A of output current. The internal limiting and thermal shutdown features of these regulators make them essentially immune to overload.
