LEC-300 / LEC-330 For professionals focused on packaging prototyping, the LEC-300 offers remarkable performance features at a more affordable price. The top-of-the-line LEC-330 offers faster production printing and higher image quality up to 1440x1440 dpi, making it ideally suited for short-run production of labels and specialty graphics as well as prototyping applications. The VersaUV LEC-330 can also be configured in your choice of three ink combinations. Accessories Bulk unit for FP-740 BU-1 To utilize the original Roland DG 1000ml ink bottles of dye sublimation inks on FP-740, it is needed to fit the bulk unit system BU-1. This unit is an original Roland DG enhancement and is easily mounted on the printer.

Take-up units TU2-30 / 54 / 64 / 74 TUC-2 A take-up system can be a valuable help for the printer which prints a lot of posters and banners. The take-up is ordered in two parts, the motor which controls the movement back and forth (TUC-2), and the unit containing the cardboard pipe which rolls up the media (TU2-xx where the xx is determined by the width of the printer on which the system is mounted. Air purifiers - AdvancedJet and VersaUV An air purifier is needed during printing when the solvent components in the inks are of the semi solvent class, such as in the Advanced Jet series. Air purifiers can also be used with the VersaUV units as the inks might smell too much for the surrounding environment. The system can be ordered to fit the needs of the printer installation. Dryer unit for PROIII series DU-540 / 640 / 740 The dryer unit DU-xxx enables the user to print at the fastest printmodes without having the hassle of prints not being dry when reaching the take-up unit*. In case of XC-540W and XC-540MT, a DU-xxx is highly recommended as the white ink and metallic ink properties demands heavier drying. The DU-xxx package consists of a blower unit and a dryer unit which is enabled and controlled via the operating panel on the printer. The DU-xxx can be mounted at any time, not only when installing the printer. *A few media types needs more drying time even though a DU-xxx is mounted. Table for LEC-300 / LEC-330 RMU-300 / RMU-330 This table (RMU=Rigid Materials Unit) is created as an accessory for the LEC-300 and LEC-330. This unit makes it possible to handle rigid materials like cardboard, aluminium plates and the like. The RMU can be mounted at any time, not only when installing the printer. The package consists of a table for the backside of the printer to help loading the media, and a table mounted at the front of the printer for unloading of rigid media. The front table is extendable until 280mm. Please notice that the brackets are different from the RMU-300 to the RMU-330. This means that they are not interchangeable.

Ink Eco Solvent ink Eco Sol Max inks are eco solvent inks produced on a Roland DG formula. This type of ink fits all models in the following classes: - VersaCAMM (SPi, VPi) - VersaArt (RS) - PROII (SJ, SC) - PROIII (XJ, XC) This ink does not require specific ventilation. It is, however, recommended that the workplace is well ventilated. Some people may be bothered by long term exposure, but very few cases has been recorded. Eco Sol Max comes 220ml and 440ml in the following configuration: 440ml: 220ml: ESL3-4CY (cyan) ESL3-CY (cyan) ESL3-4MG (magenta) ESL3-MG (magenta) ESL3-4YE (yellow) ESL3-YE (yellow) ESL3-4BK (black) ESL3-BK (black) ESL3-WH (white), for XC-540W, SC-545EXW, XC-540MT only ESL3-MT (metallic), for XC-540MT only SL-CL (cleaning liquid) Pigmented ink Pigmented inks from Roland DG exists in two generations, the FPG and the FPG2. Dye ink Picture not available Dye inks, the FDY, offers another type of production. The dye ink bonds differently to the media compared to pigmented ink, and the lifetime is shorter. Dye ink (black) can be used to produce film for screenprinting. Lifetime up to 3 years and a larger gamut than AI2.
