How to Register online Relay For Life of Dekalb/Adams Stadium Adamsrelay.com
Go to Adamsrelay.com and click on sign up
If you are a Team Captain click on start a Team. If you are a participant click on join a Team. For Survivors who will participate on your Team they should choose this option. You will be able to indicate you are a Survivor as you complete registration. If you are only participating in the Survivor dinner and first lap click on walk the Survivor lap. *If you were a participant last year, log in first with the link above the Start a Team button.
Lindsey s Team If you clicked start a Team, then your first step is to name your Team and set the fundraising goal for the Team. Click on next.
If you clicked join a Team, then click on the box indicating Select your Team and a drop down box of teams registered will appear. Click on the Team you want to join and then on next.
Once you have either created or selected join a Team, then you will answer questions about how you will pay your registration fee and your own personal fundraising goal. Additionally there is an option to jumpstart your fundraising with an additional donation.
Then you will be asked if you are a returning participant or not.
If you are returning you will be able to access your information from the previous Relay by entering your name and password. If you forgot it can be emailed to you. By logging in with your previous user name and password, contact info will auto populate on the next screen.
If you are a new participants you will move to this contact screen to complete the blanks and create your user name and password. Returning participants will confirm and update the auto-populated information. Questions with an asterisk are required.
Next you will indicate your understanding of the consent and release form.
You will have the opportunity to review the contact info you entered.click edit to correct any info.
And finally see the completion of registration and access to your dashboard via the get started link. You are now registered to participate. What do you do next?
My Relay Dashboard Getting Started
Your dashboard loads up everytime you sign in and is loaded with information to help you fundraise. There are three tabs of info. My Dashboard tab shares your personal progress and donations listing, tools to assist in fundraising, checklists, and access to announcements and other information on our Relay. At the bottom of the page you can access additional help online or by contacting the Adams Organizing Committee. Check back regularly for updates and announcements.
The My Team tab gives you more information on the Team fundraising and members.
The My Event tab has information based on how the overall Relay fundraising is doing.
Customize your pages Update your picture and the text on your personal and team page
Your dashboard helps you manage your fundraising (and Team activities) but it also provides tools to customize the page you will send your donors to. In the My Dashboard tab, click on my fundraising page.
This is what others will see when they click through the link you provide to donate online. What they won t see are the edit links you have available to customize your site including: Page name Both photos and video clips upload access Your story And you can create a url that reflects you. Just click on the edit (or upload) buttons
For example if you click on upload a photo this popup screen appears and allows you to update your page with a personal photo and a video or youtube link. Once you have your page customized, it s time to begin your fundraising campaign.
Sending emails Ask for donations, invite people to join your Team, send thank you acknowledgements, and manage your contacts
Your dashboard also provides tools to create an online fundraising campaign. In the My Dashboard tab, click on send a message.
With this tool, you can import contacts, select templates to have people join your Team, donate to you, purchase a Luminaria, or send ecards. Simply click on the drop down box and select your template which you can customize and save.
As individuals donate you will see those donations in your dashboard along with a link to send a thank you, a very important follow up you should include in your campaign. Everything you need to be successful is here, so spend some time getting to know your dashboard and start fundraising.
