New officers were getting acquainted with their duties. Some officers are doing double duties until vacancies are filled. So with the patience of the guild members, I hope that we will be able to have some interesting and informative programs along with some great workshops. Guild members met with the LAVA group for the annual February luncheon. We had about 24 ladies present. We had some great food and the opportunity to make new friends. Thanks Flo for coordinating this event. There was a great show and tell with some fabulous and neat items. I hope that the guild members with bring their items to the February meeting and share with the guild members that did not make it to the luncheon. On the 17th, about 12 guild members met to sew the Donation quilt. Some sewed, some ironed and all gave moral support. We were able to finish the quilt top except for the outer borders. Thanks Donna and Sharon for coordinating this event. And thanks to everyone who helped on Saturday. Finally, our February program will be "Notions. Notions. Notions!" Everyone should bring the sewing notion that you cannot live without. Along with the notions, I hope some members will share their Tips and Tricks for making quilts easier. Hope to see you at the meeting. Linda K. Kolar, President
