Functions as a track However, Metropole has the added advantage of functioning like a curtain track; - Gliders run smoothly in siliconised aluminium channels, unhindered by brackets or rings. - It can be hand, cord or electrically operated. - It can be bent to any bay window or curved application. Metropole is compatible with the Wave Curtain Heading System (excluding the 23mm pole). Please note that System 1003 is the only Metropole system not suitable for Wave. Metropole 30mm Silent Gliss 6120 (cord) Silent Gliss 6130 (hand) Available in all 13 finishes, this versatile pole is offered with the widest range of decorative elements. Accessories Brackets A full range of brackets are available to accommodate any installation. Standard brackets Come with covers and are available in all colours. Adjustable brackets Suit more complex and bent applications. Pillar brackets A decorative alternative for 30mm poles and are available in all colours. Blok brackets A modern alternative for the 36mm Metroflat system. Top Fix brackets Poles can be fixed directly to ceilings. Finials and midials cannot be used with this option. Child Safety The Silent Gliss child safety device is an optional part that can be included in your curtain pole system to avoid child strangulation. It separates at a pulling force of 6kg or more, it forms part of the operating cord and does not require additional fixing. Alternatively the Silent Gliss cord retainer is available for all chain/cord looped blinds and tracks. The cord retainer holds looped cords or chains taut to reduce the risk of an inquisitive child becoming entangled.
