Begin working the left and right fronts separately but simultaneously, attaching a separate ball of yarn to right front, decreasing on each neck edge every RS row 6 times, then every row 1 (1, 2, 3, 4) times. Maintain the Openwork Cable Pattern as much as possible, but the stitches adjacent to each decrease should be worked in st st. Decreases on left front neck edge will be worked as a k2tog, and decreases on the right front neck edge will be worked as a ssk. Begin working all sts in st st for the last 2 rows of decreases. Join the Front and Back at each shoulder using a 3 needle BO. Sleeves (Make 2) With 16 inch circular needle, CO 40 (42, 44, 46, 50) sts, Knit 1 row. Next row, k6 (7, 8, 9, 11), pm, k28, pm, k6 (7, 8, 9, 11). Begin working in st st to first marker, then work the Openwork Cable Pattern, starting with row 2 until the 2 nd marker, work st st to the end of the row. Continue in established patterns, at the same time, Increase on each end every 10 rows 2 (0, 0, 0, 0) times, then every 8 rows 11 (13, 12, 10, 4) times, then every 6 rows 0 (1, 3, 6, 14) times. Increases are worked as a kfb in the 2 nd stich of the row, and the 3 rd stitch from the end of the row. All increases are to be worked on RS rows. Work even until sleeve measures 17.5 (18, 18.5, 19, 19) inches from CO edge. Shape Sleeve Cap BO 2 (3, 4, 5, 6) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows. With tapestry needle, work in all loose ends.
