Served on Boards including School, Non-profit, Religious, Government, etc. Trained facilitator. Over the last several years he has developed both professional and personal relationships with the MAMC Board members and many other member clerks. He would appreciate the opportunity to now serve as the Third Vice President of the MAMC Board of Directors. Director City/Village 2 positions for 2 year terms Stephen French, MMC: City of Hillsdale, Hillsdale County Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) and a member in good standing with the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks (MAMC). Amy Salowitz, CMMC: Village Clerk Village of Pinckney, Livingston County Certified Michigan Municipal Clerk (CMMC) and a member in good standing with the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks (MAMC).

She was appointed Village Clerk in the Village of Pinckney in November 2008. She had no prior municipal experience but she dove right in. Staff and Council were amazed at what could be accomplished within time limits and budget constraints if someone had the will to get it done. In 2014, the Village President, nominated her for MAMC Village Clerk of the Year. Her nomination was accepted and was placed on the ballot. She did not win, but was thrilled with the kind words that Ms. Lavey used in the nomination form. She said, You wish you had my Clerk, and she acknowledged that that was a big statement to make to a group of hardworking, high achieving clerks. It fills you with pride and a feeling of accomplishment when your boss thinks so highly of you. Manages office staff on a daily basis. Board of Directors for the Pinckney Putnam Hamburg Hell Chamber of Commerce. Education Team for my sons former elementary/middle school. Chair - Cemetery Board. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) administrator. She would be very interested in being a Board member representing the hard working Village Clerks of Michigan. Our positions are so different from that of our fellow Township and City Clerks. A majority of Village Clerks are not involved with elections. A majority are appointed. None have a vote on Village Council. A majority of take on a leadership position in our community that is not recognized or compensated with many serving in dual rolls Clerk/Treasurer; Clerk/Manager. So while much of the education is similar to the needs of other Clerks, much is different. She would like to be the voice that represents those needs. Holly Thompson, CMC, CMMC: City of Williamston, Ingham County She has run multiple fundraisers and silent auctions for our local animal shelter and have received three Humanitarian Awards. She was honored with the Community Impact Award from the Williamston Schools. She currently directs the Williamston ArtFest on the River. Renee Wilson, CMC, CMMC: City of Fenton, Genesee and Oakland Counties Deputy Clerk 2008-2013 Elected to the Governmental Clerks of Genesee County (GCGC) Board. Certified Michigan Municipal Clerk. Certified Municipal Clerk. Working towards MMC designation. She has over sixteen years of experience in the Clerk's office and is always looking for ways to expand her professional knowledge and feels like a position on the MAMC Board would afford her that opportunity. Director Township 2 positions for 2 year terms Lanie McManus: Township Clerk Charter Township of Garfield, Grand Traverse County A member Serving as MAMC Treasurer. Served on the MAMC board for the last three years. Served as a co-chair of Education Committee. Appointed Clerk in 2014. Elected Clerk in 2016.
