Mr./Mrs. before we get started, please allow me to tell you about who I am. My name is, I m what you call a Senior Care Advocate I work with seniors to share with them programs and benefits that they can qualify for final expenses and burial coverage. I am totally opposite than a life insurance agent as I represent many different programs and carriers so I can provide seniors with the best options available to them in the marketplace this way they can save a lot of money and only deal with A-rated carriers. Please grab a pen and paper to write down my name, phone number and state insurance license number. Do you have the pen and paper? Good. I do this for your protection. My license number is. Now Mr./Mrs. our plans don t require medical exams and we are not like most other companies, we don t send a nurse out to your home to take blood or do exams nor do we do it through the mail we believe that most people are honest and we figure the best way to find out about someone s health is simply to ask them, don t you agree? I will find out about your health in a moment but first let me tell you a little bit about the process. I ll qualify you according to your health conditions and any prescription medication that you take. I ll tell you about the company and the features of the policy and finally, for your security, if you see something you like, we do a voice application over the phone, it s the new and easy way to get your policy issued to you as soon as possible, fair enough? Now, have you retired yet? What did you do or currently doing as work? Are you married? What about your spouse? Have you lived in the state your whole life? Do you have any children? How many? Grandchildren? How many? Do they live close by? In order to help you I will be asking you a few questions to see what program you qualify for based on your current health. We work with many different carriers and I will work thru them to find something within your budget for any health conditions you may have. How does that sound? Now we don t come out to your house and we get you qualified right over the phone. Do you currently have coverage in place? If yes: Who do you have coverage through?

How long have you had the coverage? How much are you paying per month? Are you looking to add to that coverage? Now lets look at your goals for coverage. Do you want a traditional burial or a cremation? Do you want any extra to be left behind for the family after your final expenses are covered? Traditional Burial: policy between 7-15 thousand. Cremation: policy between 5-10 thousand. But our main goal is going to be getting something in place that we know you can afford. So we will get as much coverage as your budget allows while also meeting your needs. I don t want you to be worrying about paying for this today. I am simply giving you the different options that you qualify for today. If you see something you like you just let me know, fair enough? If you do see something then I help you out setting this up on monthly bank drafts. Now we are going to talk about your health conditions. Have you recently been treated by a doctor for any serious health conditions? Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure? Are they under control with medicine? If diabetes are they taking insulin? Any heart, liver, or lung problems? Inquire about COPD, Congestive heart failure can not be written on Baltimore life. COPD is graded with Baltimore life. Any hospital visits lately? Heart attack, chest pain or heart problems? Congestive Heart failure not covered under foresters. Any kidney problems? If receiving dialysis or advised to have organ transplant or have hepatits c cannot be written under Baltimore. Do you currently use oxygen or been advised by doctor to use oxygen? If yes can t be written on Baltimore or forester.

Alzheimer s, dementia or memory loss? Aids, HIV or any immune system disorder? IF yes can t be written through Baltimore or foresters. Immune system disorders other than aids can be written under foresters. Are you confined to a bed, walker or wheelchair? Are you currently in a nursing home hospital or have hospice or home health care? Are you taking any medications? What is your Height and Weight? Have you used any tobacco in the past 12 months? Well, based off what you have told me so far, it appears you may qualify for one of our best plans. Now, everyone s needs are different, but one common need is everybody has to take care of their loved ones. Every day, I help people like you take this burden off of their family and help them achieve peace of mind. See the problem for most people I talk to today is the high cost of death and funerals. Because the average funeral is between 6 to 15 thousand dollars!! There were a couple ways people used to take care of it. You know years back, when funerals were only 4-5 thousand dollars, you could save enough to pay for it. But, I don t know about you, it s hard for me to save money these days. Or, you could just let your family pay for it? But it s hard to do that today because of how expensive they are. Plus, if your family is like most families, they are trying as hard as they can to make ends meet week to week.

That s why it is important to have a program in place so that we can take care of this for your family. Occasionally, I will talk with someone who wants to put this off or who wants to think about it or talk to their children about it. But when it comes to death, it s the one thing we can t put off. We all know that our children don t like for us to think about death, much less talk about death. In the many years I ve been helping families I ve never had one child or spouse say I am so glad my parent/spouse didn t take care of this. I am so glad I am left with the burden of deciding everything and paying for it. At the end of the day it is about the legacy you want to leave your family. Either a legacy of being responsible and not leaving those hard choices to your loved ones or a legacy of not caring and making the worst day of their life more difficult. Which picture do you want to be in? So, with that in mind, the way we help you and your family prepare for that day is by providing you a memorial guide, which is included in your policy. When you fill out your memorial guide it will help you pre-plan your funeral and last wishes so that your family won t have to. This gives you a place to record all your desires for the funeral service. Songs to be sung, pallbearers, obituary wording and anything else you want them to know for your last wishes. have you ever been through a loss of a loved one? Either way you are probably familiar with what takes place in making arrangement? When the time comes your family will go to the funeral home to make arrangements and the funeral director will greet them in the lobby and will say two things? 1 st I m sorry for the loss of your loved one 2 nd Was there any coverage in place to take care of your loved one s expenses? Now I am going to share with you the features of your plan. I will give you three options to choose from and you just tell me which one meets your needs best. Your program is permanent whole life plan that is guaranteed for the rest of your life.

Your premiums never increase and your benefits never decrease. You can never be cancelled for any reason other than not paying the premium payments. You will have a cash value that you can borrow against if needed or use to help make a premium payment if needed. Explain any other features depending upon the company. I.E. accidental insurance, or if it is a graded plan, accidental death benefit, common carrier. Give pricing., Who would you want to name as your beneficiary? How about a contingent beneficiary? Now, which benefit best fits your needs and your budget? Let s make sure we activate your plan on the day of the month that works best for you. To do so, we need to secure your rates and benefits on my secure phone line. I just need you to have your checking or savings account handy before we make the call to set up a monthly bank draft for the premium. You should have one of your checks available so you can read off the routing number and account number when you are asked for it by the call center representative. Do you know what day of the month you would like the premium drafted from your account each month? Is it okay for us to draft the first premium from your account today, that way our coverage goes into effect as soon as the company approves your application? All future monthly premiums will be drafted on the day of the month you have selected. One last thing we are going to do a 3-way call that I mentioned earlier to finalize your policy contract. It will take about 15 minutes or so, but when we are done I want you to get back to enjoying your day. Let s make sure you have everything ready: You will need to indicate your full name, contact information, date of birth, beneficiary, the name of your plan and how much coverage you are applying for and any riders, the date of your payment, name and city of your bank and payment information. Your social security number to make this a legally accurate document, so the benefits get paid to the correct person. Give me a few moments while I call the insurance company call center.

After call center: Congratulations, Your coverage is now set for life. My secretary is going to send out your Welcome Packet today. It will contain: Thank you letter, my business cards, memorial guide, sponsor sheet, brochures about your plan and some additional information that will be useful.
