Consumables Pricelist CPM - 100 Clarification materials Premium Grade Vinyl (Width 110mm. Length 15m) For use with our standard resin ribbons This is our most popular material, as it covers the majority of day-to-day requirements for signs and labels. Lighthouse vinyl is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Externally, it is not affected by wind, rain, snow etc. Over time, exposure to the sun's UV light ( Ultra violet) can effect the pigment in the material. So if you place a sign in a position where it is exposed to direct sunlight, after a period of 4-5 years, there may be a level of 'fading'. By this, we do not mean that the colour in the vinyl will have disappeared, but it will not be exactly the same shade as it was originally. Once applied, our vinyl can operate in temperatures between -40 C to + 70 C. It is available in a vast array of vibrant colours, hence we are able to produce a comprehensive range of options to cover legislative requirements for Health and Safety, Pipe Marking, COSHH,WRAP, etc, for any market in the world. It is also usually possible for us to match corporate colours without the expense of large minimum order quantities. To recap the basic properties of Lighthouse vinyl: * High durable, so suitable for indoor and outdoor use * High range of colours * Perfect for general signage and labelling requirements * High quality adhesive * Excellent temperature tolerance Ultrabond (Width 106mm, Length 15m) For use with our standard resin ribbons If you need the ultimate combination of adhesive strength and longevity, Lighthouse Ultrabond is the material for you This material has a 7 year minimum outdoor durability, coupled with a great temperature tolerance range of -30 C to +80 C. Capable of adhering to even the most difficult surfaces, the high grab adhesive gives a fantastic initial tack and a strong ultimate bond, all-in all marking it perfect for product marking and industrial applications. Standard Resin Ribbon (Length 50m) For use with our premium grade vinyl and ultrabond This extensive range of premium ribbons offer vibrant colour print on to our Premium Grade Vinyls and Ultrabond. Like our vinyls, they are UV stable for 4-5 years, as well as being highly scratch, rub and oil resistant. Clear Abrasion Guard ( CPMS47) provides additional protection for a printed label, adding a clear protective layer over the print. Typical applications include 'Push & Pull' labels on doors, that will inevitably undergo daily abrasion. It also regulates and unifies the rate at which ribbon colours fade. Polyester (Width 106mm. Length 15m) For use with our speciality resin ribbons Polyester has specific properties that make it suitable for certain applications. It is highly durable and extremely 'dimensionally stable', which means that it doesn't tend to shrink or expand. Therefore it is ideal for manufacturers' product labels because it won't shrink and expose adhesive edges that can attract dust/dirt and become unsightly or unhygienic. These materials have a temperature resistance of between -40 C to +149 C (expet Gloss Yellow & Mirror Silver which both have a temperature resistance of between -25 C to +120 C). Consumables Pricelist CPM - 100 Speciality Materials (Width 110mm, Length 15m) For use with our speciality resin ribbons Here is an introduction to the speciality materials in our range: Tamper Evident: If removal of this material is attempted, a patern will appear both in the label and on the surface it was applied. This can be either the word 'VOID', or a simple 'chain link' design. The void option is ideal for warranty seal labe for example, if a customer removes an inspection cover on an electronic device, the warranty is voided. The chain link option is used for all other applications where it is important to identify if something has been removed or tampered with. Tamper Destructible: This is a security product and removal of labels made from this material is extremely difficult. The face has an 'egg-shell' construction, which means that when removal is attempted the label will fragment into tin Applications include asset and security labels such as 'Property of ' labels, etc. Brushed gold and silver: These are essentially 'decorative' materials, designed for applications such as corporate door/nameplates, architecual signange, awards, trophy plates, etc. Not suitable for long-term external use as the colour will fade in 1-2 years when exposed to direct sunlight. Etched Glass Effect: This material is designed for cutting only. It is predominantly used for producing shapes, graphics and logos to apply to glass doors, panels and partitions. There is a legal requirement to ensure such areas of glass can be seen, so adding corporate logos is a popular way of complying with legislation, whilst also promoting the corporate look. Paint Mask : This material is designed for cutting only. It is used as a masking product during the spray-painting of components and for the stencils used to paint tekst/graphics on to storage vessels, vehicules etc. The medium tack, peelable adhesive holds the material firmly in place during the painting process, but is easily removed on completion, without leaving any adhesive residue. Polycarbonate Overlaminate: This material is designed for cutting only. This is an excellent indoor material, designed to give robust, textured overlaminate protection to labels. Main applciations include control panel overlays, aircraft decals, product labels, etc. PVF overlaminate: This material is designed for cutting only. This outdoor durable material has excellent resistance to weathering and a wide variety of chemicals, solvents and staining agents. It has been designed to dramatically reduce the effect of discolouration /fading caused by UV light. It is intended for the lamination of long-term, outdoor applications such as safety signs, operational decals, operational decals, vehicule graphics, aircraft decals, etc. Reflective Silver and Yellow: These are suitable for indoor applications and refelct light back, making them highly v They are used for warning, traffic and information signs, as well as chevrons, particulary on industrial sites. Photolumiscent: This is an indoor material that soaks up light and will then emit a green glow for many hours if ther is a lighting failure. It is ideal for producing small identification labels containing tekst or barcodes. It has excellent resistance to harsh fluxes, cleansers, saponifiers and wave solder environments, and resists all commonly emplyed cleaning methodes. It can cope with t of between -40 C to +537 C. This product is only recommended for use with Matt Black Universal Ribbon CPMSR60.
