Characteristics Electrical characteristics Double 300 400 Kva General This option comprises a transformer that deliver voltage that is shifted 30 with respect to the utility voltage and supplies the standard rectifiercharger located in the auxiliary double cubicle via inductor L2. A second rectifiercharger located in the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 cubicle is supplied by the utility voltage via inductor L1. The standard rectifiercharger located in the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 cubicle is supplied with the 15 voltage via inductor L1. A second rectifiercharger is supplied with the +15 voltage via inductor L2. The DC+ and DC bus supplying the is supplied via a balancing inductor mounted between the outputs of the rectifierchargers. The rectifiercharger is installed in an auxiliary cubicle that is placed at the left side of the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 cubicle. Consult the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 installation manual (No. 3739381XU) for indications on handling and installing the auxiliary cubicle containing the double rectifiercharger for MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000. Of particular importance are the following sections: "characteristics common to all cubicles"; "preparation"; "permanent installation"; "dismantling the pallett"; "cubicle ground bearing surface"; "layout of cubicles on computer floor or flat ground". The double rectifiercharger cubicle is an auxiliary cubicle that must be positioned immediately to the left of the main MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 UPS cubicle. Connections should not be undertaken before the cubicle has been installed in its final operating position. Cubicle ventilation is of the forcedair type with air through the front and output through the top of the unit (a free space of 400 mm must be maintained above the cubicles to ensure correct evacuation). 34005409EN/AE Page 7

All the necessary connections between the auxiliary cubicle and the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 cubicle (power and auxiliaries) are supplied. Other power connections: the three phases between the normal AC source (or mains 1) and lag transformer's primary Y located in the double rectifiercharger cubicle; the double auxiliary cubicle's lag 's + and polarities between the DC bus supplying the and the battery in the MGE TM Galaxy TM 6000 cubicle.
