To make this Simple Pentagon Pendant, the following materials were used. The quantities are for a pair of ear Pendants. You can of course, use your prefered colours and means of attachment. Ear Wire Regular Number Required 1 Pair Bugle Bead Size 3 Number Required 20 Seed Bead Miyuki Size 11 Number Required 52 Beading Needle Size 10 Beading Thread I Use Wildfire. 0.15mm (0.006in) 61cm (24in) x 2 for a pair of pendants Scissors in full or used to furnish third party kits.
Thread the Size 3 Gold Bugle beads and Size 11 Black Seed beads onto the needle and thread. Leave a tail (shown in RED) of approximately 5 inches or 13 cm. TAIL Feed the needle through the 2 Black Seed beads and the Gold Bugle bead again. Pick up a Gold Bugle bead. Feed the needle through the next Black seed bead. Add a Gold Bugle bead in sequence, following the Green dashed route. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 3
Complete the row by exiting the Black bead. To begin the next sequence, feed the needle back through the Gold Bugle bead as shown. Add 3 Black seed beads to the needle and thread. Then feed the needle through the next Gold Bugle bead. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 4
Continue to add the 3 Black Seed beads, by threading through the Gold Bugle beads in sequence, following the Green dashed route. After threading the last set of Black Seed beads; Feed the needle through the Gold Bugle bead and 2 Black beads as shown. Pulling the needle and thread clear, feed the Ear Ring and and 6 size 11 Seed beads in sequence as indicated (3 Seed beads either side of the Ear Ring). Feed the needle into the MIDDLE Black bead and the Gold Bugle bead as shown. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 5
Step Up (see Green dashed line) to the inner Gold Bugle bead and push the needle through the Black bead as shown. Apply a medium tension on the thread. Pull the thread through and arrange the beads. Then insert the needle into the Gold Bugle bead. Step Up (see Green dashed line) to the outer Gold Bugle bead. Push the needle through the Black bead as shown, MISSING OUT the Middle bead. Continue to push the needle through the 3 Ear Ring Seed beads and through the Ear Ring attachment hole. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 6
Turn the Pendant over After pulling the needle and thread through the Ear Ring, Feed the needle through the 3 Gold Seed beads and the Black bead and Gold Bugle bead as shown. Ensure you Miss the middle black bead. Pull the Needle and thread clear. Apply a medium tension and arrange the beads. Feed the needle under the thread and over the inner beads as shown. Pull amedium tension on the thread. Tie a Knot. Pull the Needle and thread clear. Feed the needle through the 3 Black Seed beads only, Missing the Gold Bugle bead as shown. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 7
Pull the Needle and thread clear. Apply a medium tension and arrange the beads. Feed the needle under the thread and over the inner beads as shown. Pull amedium tension on the thread. Tie a Knot. Feed the needle through the Gold Bugle Bead. in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 8
Pull the needle and thread clear. Apply a medium tension to the thread. Cut the tread as close to the Gold bead as possible. Thread the needle with the tail. Feed the needle under the thread of the outer beads as shown. Pull a medium tension on the thread arranging the beads as you do so. Tie a Knot in full or used to furnish third party kits. Page 9
