Pick the Pros September 1, 2015 - January 3, 2016 Rules & Regulations The Promotion will be conducted on the dates indicated above and offers B Connected members the chance to win prizes when they enter their pro football picks during the regular season via MGT promotional kiosks. Patrons must have a B Connected card to participate in this giveaway. The B Connected card can be obtained for free. Obtaining Items Participants need to register and accept the terms and conditions of the promotion at the kiosk. This will be their valid registration for the entire season. The promotion begins Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm at which time participants may also enter their picks for week one (1). Each week all card members will be issued one (1) free promotion card. Anyone with more than one (1) entry will be disqualified. Each week s promotion entries may be entered no earlier than 7:00 pm each Tuesday and no later than Noon each Sunday. B Connected members must submit their weekly cards in person at the kiosk and must enter their PIN. Any game played outside of the United States is not included as part of the weekly pick. Each week, participants will enter their picks and a score in the selected tie-breaker game via a touch screen selection at the kiosk. Participants will select their choice of game winner by touching the team name on the kiosk screen. Once the weekly card is selected it will appear with the selected games for the week. Participants will also have the option of using a Quick Picks, a Home Team or a Favorites button. The Quick Picks button will automatically make the selections randomly. The Home Team button will select teams that are scheduled to play at home at the time the promotion begins each week. The Favorites button will automatically select the teams who are favored according to the pointspreads assigned to the teams at the time the promotion begins each week. For Pick em games, where there are no pointspreads, the Home Team will be considered the Favorite. Contestants may then change any or all of the selections before submitting. Once the participant selects the submit button for each one of their entries, the entry is final and changes will not be permitted. It is the player s responsibility for verifying the accuracy of their picks prior to selecting the submit button. Once the entry has been submitted via the kiosk, a paper copy of their picks will be generated at the kiosk. If a ticket is not generated, participant may go to the B Connected club to get a printed copy of their picks. A printed copy of the ticket is not required to win. The promotion involves picking the winning teams of selected games during each week for the pro football regular season s Sunday and Monday games (maximum 16 games during any one (1) week). The promotion runs from week #1 of the 2015 regular season through 1
week #17 of the 2015 regular season. The team winning the game is the winning selection. In the case of a tie, either team selected will count as a win. If a game that is initially part of the promotion at the time the promotion begins each week is subsequently postponed until a date beyond the following Monday, then both sides of that game will count as a win. Weekly Prize Promotion: Prizes will be awarded each week to all participants based on their weekly rank, which will be determined by their total number of correct picks for the week. In the case of ties: The first tie-breaker: The participant who comes closest to picking the combined score on that weekend s selected tie-breaker game will receive the higher rank. The second tie-breaker: If the first tie-breaker does not determine rank, the participant with the earliest electronic time stamp that is generated by the kiosk for that week s promotion will receive the higher rank. Possible prizes associated with weekly ranking are as follows: Rank 1 thru 10: $100, $150, $200, $250 in Slot Dollars Rank 11 thru 25: $50, $60, $80 in Slot Dollars or Dinner for two (2) in Boyd s Steakhouse ($80 value). Rank 26 thru 50: $30, $40, or $45 in Slot Dollars, Dinner for two (2) in Options Buffet. Rank 51 thru 100: $10, $15, $25 in Slot Dollars, Rocks Teaser or Pleaser, or Deli Value Meal. In the event that the number of participants with the same number of winning picks during any one (1) week of the promotion exceeds one hundred (100), the tie-breaker rules outlined earlier will be utilized to determine participant rank. Under no circumstance will Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino be required to award a ranking to more than one hundred (100) participants for any one (1) week of the promotion. Participants may swipe their B Connected Card and enter their PIN at a kiosk or check their B Connected online account after 7:00 pm each Tuesday to see if he/she qualified for a Slot Dollar or prize offer on the following Sunday. Participant may claim weekly prize at any Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino promotional kiosk from 12:00 p.m. noon to 7:00 p.m. each Sunday. Participant will play the Football Pick game at the kiosk to determine their prize. Prize awarded will be one (1) of the possible prizes based on participant s weekly rank. Prizes not claimed at a promotional kiosk by 7:00 p.m. on each Sunday will be forfeited. Participants may only receive one prize per week. $100,000 Prize Pool: Participants who make at least twelve (12) correct picks in at least fifteen (15) different weeks will be eligible for a $100,000 cash prize. In the event that multiple participants are eligible for the $100,000 prize it will be split between all eligible participants. The prize pool 2
will be paid out to all eligible participants at the season finale. If no one qualifies, the $100,000 prize will not be distributed. Season MVP: Weekly rankings will be tracked throughout the promotion to determine a Season MVP. This participant will be awarded with $1,000 cash and a trophy at the season finale. Determination of the MVP will be based on a cumulative points rating system in which ranked participants will receive a point value for their weekly rank. The points assigned to each weekly rank will be awarded in a reverse order (i.e. Rank one (1) receives one hundred (100) points and Rank one hundred (100) receives one (1) point). Unranked participants will receive a point value of zero. The participant with the highest point total at the end of the season will be named the MVP. Season Finale: Participants may activate their entries during the season finale held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in which five (5) additional prizes will be awarded via standard drawing procedures. All participants will be awarded one (1) free entry for every weekly entry submitted during the promotion. Entry activation for the drawing will be from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at any promotional kiosk. Drawing Times and Prizes Drawings will be held in the Pavilion/Casino utilizing the MGT Kiosk system (the System ) for the giveaway. January 10, 2016 12:00pm One (1) winner of $250 1:00pm One (1) winner of $500 2:00pm One (1) winner of $750 3:00pm One (1) winner of $1,000 4:00pm One (1) winner of $2,500 Procedure for Selecting Winners An Illinois Gaming Board Agent will be notified no later than 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the drawing. The MGT Kiosk system will be utilized to randomly select the appropriate number of winner(s) at the appropriate times listed previously. The MGT Kiosk system is able to identify all B Connected members with active electronic entries. The screen will allow the MGT Kiosk system to randomly select the appropriate number of winners for the drawing time. The required commands for selecting the winners during the drawing will be done by Par-A-Dice personnel and filmed by Surveillance. The 3
designated winner s name and B Connected account number will be displayed on the screen.. B Connected members must be present to win and can only win once for this promotion. Dependent upon each selected patron being easily found, drawing times may be extended to accommodate Par-A-Dice personnel locating the selected patrons. The selected name(s) will be announced at least twice over the public address system. The announcement will not be broadcast in Boyd s Steakhouse or Rock s. Par-A-Dice personnel will use the Kiosk timer to record the lapsed time. An announcement containing the winner s name will be made. If at the 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m., drawings the selected winner(s) are not present at the promotions area or cannot produce a valid photo ID (state issued photo ID, driver s license, military ID or passport) within ten (10) minutes, we will continue to select until the prize has been awarded or until the end of the gaming day, whichever occurs first. Cash prize(s), will be paid with a cash voucher that must be redeemed within twenty-four hours of issuance. The patron has the option of receiving the prize payment at the cage window in the form of cash or check. GENERAL RULES: Boyd Gaming Corporation and Par-A-Dice Gaming Corporation employees and the immediate families of such employees who hold a position of department Director or above are not eligible to participate. Immediate family means an employee s spouse and all persons residing in the same home as the employee. Family includes children, grandchildren, parents, and grandparents, including in-laws and persons in a step or adoptive relationship. The MGT Kiosk system will not allow transactions for any patrons marked as evicted in the system. If applicable, in the event we find missing information that was inadvertently missed by our direct mail house vendor, Par-A-Dice reserves the right to add the missing information to the direct mail piece with i.e. stickers, stamps or by other means. Par-A-Dice will notify an IGB Docksite Supervisor/Agent of the addition via memo. In the event of inclement weather, Par-A-Dice reserves the right to move the promotion and any applicable drawings to another day. Par-A-Dice will notify an IGB Docksite Supervisor of the postponement and the new date of the promotion. 4
If applicable, in the event we do not have enough participants to conduct the drawings we will select what we can and then forfeit the rest of the prizes with the consent of an IGB Docksite Supervisor or designee. If applicable, in the event a patron s name is selected and they are not present to claim the prize, they are still eligible to be selected again later at another drawing time if the prize was not awarded. B Connected members must be 21 years or older to participate in this Promotion. Par-A-Dice reserves the right to alter, change, modify or cancel this Promotion with prior approval of the Illinois Gaming Board Administrator/Docksite Supervisor or designee. Subject to regulatory approval of the Illinois Gaming Board. Surveillance must monitor and tape the drawings. A copy of the surveillance tape will be retained in accordance with the Records Retention policy described in the Board Adopted Rules. In the event that any system is not operable, IGB, Surveillance and MIS will be notified immediately. Par-A-Dice personnel will investigate the problem and resolve the issue as soon as possible in order for the respective promotion (i.e. drawing times, points, pull-tabs, scratch cards, entry, play, etc.) to continue. Should a malfunction delay the promotion, Par- A-Dice reserves the right to extend the promotion to accommodate affected patrons. If the problem cannot be fixed, Par-A-Dice Management will decide the final outcome with the consent from the IGB Docksite Supervisor/Agent. Par-A-Dice may disqualify any person for any prize based upon fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct whether or not related to this promotion. All decisions by management are final. Winners are responsible for paying all local, state and federal taxes, and license and title fees, if any, on prizes awarded. Par-A-Dice reserves the right to assist elderly, handicapped, or challenged patrons during this promotion. By participation in this Promotion, all winners give Par-A-Dice permission to take photographs and use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes for no additional compensation.
