Background Implementation of relevant outcome documents including: Nanjing Declaration on Promoting SME Innovative Development Joint Ministerial Statement of 2014 APEC SME Ministerial Meeting Main theme of APEC SME Business Forum: Innovation and Sustainability serve as a platform of dialogue between the public and private sector Being endorsed by the APEC SMEWG(SME 05 2017S) in 2016, China would hold the APEC SME Business Forum in 2017 and 2018.

Review of the last Forum APEC SME Business Forum 2017 Over the course of two days, industry experts, academics and business representatives from APEC economies, made an in-depth discussion on the direction and path of innovation development of SMEs, which are of common concern to member economies centering on the theme of "Innovation in the Digital Era and the Development of SMEs".
Mr. Zhuang Congsheng - former Vice-President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of the China Private Economic Research Society. Mr. Niclolas Edward James Coyle - Chief Executive Officer of the China-Australian Chamber of Commerce ect. delivered speeches on main forum session The APEC-B & R Dialogue meeting and sub-themed forums were organized successfully, providing a platform for SMEs to demonstrate exchanges and win-win cooperation.
