Installation Precautions Installation Precautions When hanging a projector from a ceiling using this projector bracket (hereinafter called the projector bracket ), the ceiling must have adequate strength to support both the projector and the projector bracket. Before installation, check the combined weight of the projector, projector bracket and low-ceiling bracket/high-ceiling bracket as well as the strength of the ceiling based on that weight. If the strength is insufficient, provide adequate reinforcement before proceeding. Always mount on a level wall. Never install on an inclined wall. During installation, take appropriate measures (using wires, etc.) to prevent lateral swaying due to earthquakes or vibration. When setting up the projector, be careful not to clamp the power cord. Also, avoid using extension cords and running other appliances from the same wall outlet as the projector. If the power cord becomes damaged, replace the power cord. Do not route the power cord near the air outlet of the projector. How to adjust the projection angle Before adjusting: Read the projector instruction manual carefully, turn on the power, and project an image. Use the zoom to temporarily set the projection size, and then adjust the projection angle. Loosen the angle adjustment nut using the wrench included with the ceiling bracket (sold separately) and align the projector to project the image in the center of the screen. Then fasten the nut securely. Angle adjustment nut Turns left and right 360 Wrench If using a commercially-available wrench, use one with a size of 24mm. 15 horizontal tilt 15 horizontal tilt Caution After securing the projector angle, if the angle is readjusted without loosening the screw, the fastening area could be deformed, which could prevent it from being tightened again. When readjusting the angle, loosen the angle adjustment nut before adjusting the angle. If the adjustment is off center, readjust the angle. After making the adjustment, be sure the screw is securely tightened. 6
