E2M s software is one of the best motion software we have worked with. The emulator enabled us to begin testing weeks before receiving the system. Within a few hours of installation, the motion system was integrated and operational. Such a milestone is unheard of with other motion system suppliers. The software of all E2M systems is identical. The software is very easy and therefore quick to interface. A clear API is available to help make the connection between our simulation and the motion system. SOFTWARE E2M uses a single turn-key software and hardware controller solution for all motion and control loading systems. The servo drives and peripheral hardware are interfaced with the real time controller using the industry standard EtherCAT real time network technology. The digital information on this network is fully integrated into the controller code resulting in excellent diagnostics capabilities. The real time operating system cooperates with Microsoft Windows on one multicore CPU. This means easy accessibility of the data files via the network and Windows based remote diagnostics and support. At the same time hard real time performance is maintained. Alternatively, a Linux based solution can be supplied. USER TOOLS ECUE CREATOR User tool for creating motion profiles for predefined motion applications. Applications: entertainment rides, cabin crew training, testing. Main features: -- load videos and synchronize the motion profile with the video; -- create named time marks for easy navigation through the profile; -- editing using smoothed sine, spline and scale functions; -- the original motion profile is maintained, all edit operations are stored separately and can be individually enabled/disabled or deleted; -- noise function with time dependent amplitude and frequency; -- copy and paste functionality for edit operations; -- filtering and limiting for the appropriate E2M motion system; -- direct control capability for development and immediate playback on an E2M motion system; -- after export the profile can be played and synchronized using SMPTE.
