Choose from four colored flexible vinyl Fluorescent/Photoluminescent combinations: Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green.
How does it work? PERMALIGHT photoluminescent products absorb light and their luminance becomes visible, once the ambient lighting is less than the emitted luminance. The luminance depends on several factors: Type of pigment - PERMALIGHT uses patented High Performance Strontium Oxide Aluminate Pigments. Quantity of pigment - the more pigments incorporated, the more charging power the material has. Type of light source - cool white light sources, such as fluorescent lighting and sunshine, are excellent activators. Soft warm lighting, such as incandescent light bulbs, is at the lower activation end. Illumination - light intensity on the surface of material is measured in Lux or Foot Candle. 1 foot candle equals 10.8 Lux. A minimum of 2 foot candle (21.6 lux) is typically recommended for activation. Length of Illumination - at least 60 minutes of activation are recommended. Other terms for our photoluminescent technology are phosphorescence, high performance glow in the dark and self-illuminating. PERMALIGHT photoluminescent products are: Non radioactive Non toxic Lead free Self-extinguishing vinyl No phosphor ingredients Tel. 310-891-0924 3

All our flexible and rigid substrates are excellent for UV dry and air dry screen printing, using standard commercially available opaque inks. Both the films and the rigid substrates are ideal for digital printing with solvent-based inks. You may also apply plotter cut graphics (e.g., reflective lettering) to both our films and rigid sheet substrates to create signs that both reflect light AND glow in full darkness. PERMALIGHT Polyester Thin films are most ideal for plotter cutting, die-cutting and kiss-cutting. Our films all come with strong adhesives to ensure a durable adhesion for interior application on smooth surfaces for years to come. PERMALIGHT rigid PVC sheets are sturdy, semi-stiff plastic substrates, combining high elasticity and toughness at the same time. The sheets may be cut to size using a process cutter or guillotine shear. Create 3-dimensional L- or V-shaped signage by heat-forming the rigid on a strip heater. The sheets are non-adhesive, yet you can easily apply double-sided tape or use a wavy bead of construction adhesive for sign mounting to a surface. Another option: drill holes and screw attach rigid signs. A major advantage of rigid over film: if the installation surface (e.g., a brick wall) is not smooth, rigid signs look smooth and elegant, while a thin film sign would show the wall unevenness. PERMALIGHT rigid Aluminum 81-60007 is MEA-certified by the NYC Department of Buildings with MEA Report 302-05-M. Both the rigid Aluminum and our rigid PVC sheets work well to produce ADA signage with raised letters and Braille to aide the Visually Impaired. Our top printable substrates!
