Caution: The PHTM100 is intended for indoor use only. Use of this product outdoors may lead to product failure. The maximum weight of flat screen to be installed on the PHTM100 is 25 lbs (11.4 kg) Make sure that the structure where the screen will be mounted can support the combined weight of the PTM100 mount (1 lbs) and the flat screen. 4Pl. #10-24 x 1-1/2" Phillips Tapping Screws Attachment Determine the appropriate location on the wall for the flat screen. Make sure to account for cable connections to the screen and routing cables from any A/V components. Use a stud finder to locate the center of the stud located where the screen will be mounted. Use a level and the as a template to mark the locations for 4 mounting holes. Drill pilot holes for wood studs using an 1/16" drill bit 1-1/2" deep into the center of the stud. Step 2: 4Pl. Monitor Attaching Screws & Washers Attachment Attach the to the back of the flat screen with attaching screws that are an appropriate size and length for the model of screen being mounted. 4mm screws, setscrews, washers & nuts are provided for attachment to many standard VESA patterns. For screens with recessed inserts, use the provided setscrews, washers & nuts to attach the screen to the. Caution! Using the wrong screw size or length to mount the screen may cause damage to the screen and void your screen warranty. Check with the screen manufacturer to confirm the appropriate screw size for wall mounting. Page 4 of 5
Step 3: 2Pl. 4mm x 12mm Phillips Screws or Button Pin Head Security Screws Slot Tab to VESA Plate Attachment Make sure that the cords attached to the screen are properly routed and will have adequate clearance when the screen is mounted. Caution! With the wafer thin projection of this mount, special provisions like cutouts in the wall and in the wall routing of cables may be needed. Check with the screen manufacturer to ensure that there will not be a problem with the screen mounted with a 3/8" projection from the wall Lift the screen and align the Tab on the with the Slot on the PHTM100 Wall Plate. Use the provided 4mm x 12mm Phillips Screws or Button Pin Head Security Screws to hold the two plates together. (1/4" Drive Sockets are available for the 5/32" Hex Button Pin Head Security Screw Part #SH10ASKT) Make sure that the screen is level, remove and adjust as needed to make the screen level. Page 5 of 5
