CLASS OF 2012 END OF YEAR SURVEY COMMENTS What advice would you give incoming freshmen about high school? don't worry about it, you'll do fine never get behind and make good academic choices Study turn in your work, and have fun work hard Grades are important...but not as important as making close friends and relationships. The best is to find a good balance of both Get involved and manage your time watch how much time you spend socializing plan Get your priorities straight, because it's hard to come back after making so many mistakes. do not screw up your freshman year Work Hard don't screw up and don't get caught sleep be organized Find a place where you fit in. Don't do or be a certain thing to please someone else. You want to look back on the next four years as fun and helpful, so if you make a mistake, learn from it and move on. don't slack Do it. Everything you want to. Don't let a moment of this pass you by. Find your passion and stick to it, and get it all done. Join cheer! Keep your grades up and get involved in the activities offered Work hard, but don't over work and enjoy yourself. be yourself and do what you want not what your friends want DO YOUR WORK even if you think it is wrong, just do it! take every year seriously You reap what you sow. Have fun. Go out and do things :) Be yourself study and work hard every year then senior year will be a breeze make sure you are taking the right classes do your work and study Get ready... Don t slack. They ll regret it. Plan out times to go to the bathroom. It stinks when you have to go in the middle of class. You end up missing information you need to know. Don't crowd in the middle of the hallways when people are trying to get to class.

Unless you have nothing on your paper turn it in regardless of completeness Don't slack off, work hard and try your best, stay involved and make lots of friends because not all of them will stay with you through high school try new things It's only as difficult as you make it to be. Just do your work, pay attention in class, and get help from teachers when you don't understand something. work hard do your work Don't be scared of upper classmen Live it up Get involved in something that you love, don't just pad your resume. Go to as many basketball games as you can, enjoy your time here and live it up Always Bring a Pen Put forth your best effort 110% try hard no matter what Don't live with regrets, do everything beyond everyone s expectations and have fun because life is too short to stress over analyze school Study and don't make stupid choices even if your friends are you get out what you put in Do your best, work hard in school, don't lack off, and involve yourself in a lot of activities. Attend a play and sporting event even if you don't think you'll be into it Don t think you are above everyone else...you are not...sorry. Do lots of activities, and don't be afraid to go outside your school work hard, be involved get good grades early stay focused and develop good study habits Join FBLA!!! And get as involved as you can so you have no regrets. Read the books It s not as scary as movies make it seem, high school can be fun, and you just have to make yourself known and be involved. do work Be organized. It will save your life. Work hard. you will definitely regret it if you don't do your school work Be confident in who you are and don t let others opinions change that. You are the best you. stay in school don t do drugs Good grades aren't everything. Just pass and be happy. Attend as many activities as you can. It may not seem like it, but trust us when we say it, high school will go by fast. Take nothing for granted do as much as you can without exhausting yourself Get involved! High school is way more fun if you're in activities or sports or theatre or band or choir or dance. GET INVOLVED!! Don't listen to people that treat you like crap

Try hard take more honors classes and get involved in activities to meet more people. Have fun it goes by fast work hard all four years Have fun, enjoy the ride! It goes by so fast, make all of the memories you can. Don t be afraid to go out and do different things! I would tell the freshman to make the most of the time they have because it goes by fast. High school seems like a long 4 years, but go to dances, go to sporting events, because once high school is over there is real life, and these are the fun times to enjoy being with friends and growing as a person. KEEP YOUR GRADES UP! You will come to senior year and then find out you're missing credits and have to work like mad to graduate. Don t slack, and love Liberty for what it is! Have fun. Its four years of your life that will change you a lot. You will love and hate the people you are with more than once. Get classes that challenge you but that you know you can succeed in never try to overdo your schedule you'll end up regretting it and wanting time for other school activities. Do your homework. You have no idea how much those points affect your grade. Be independent and responsible for yourself. Act mature. Try hard and don't slack Get involved and be open to new ideas and people and don't be stupid. Don't blow off freshman and sophomore year. It's harder to make up grades your last two years then to do well and then slack off. focus on school work... junior year is the hardest TAKE ROCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!! focus on school work... junior year is the hardest live it up Enjoy your time in high school; it flies by faster than you think. Get involved in activities or sports and do everything you want to do. Don't leave high school with any regrets! enjoy it while you can because it goes by too fast Use excel for help enjoy it but work hard Learn. It's the best thing you can ever have. Get involved and do well in school. Try hard and do homework and study. Live it up Find a good balance between academics, activities, and friends. Stay on top of your homework and freshmen year is just as important as sophomore and junior year. get over yourself, you re the same as everyone else Start the year strong Don't get corrupted. Stay true to yourself. Behave. always try your best plan Stay out of the drama get good grades it helps Always try your hardest and don t blow off classes!

do your best Don t be afraid to ask teachers for help and work hard. It's easier to keep working hard if you start out strong. Be MATURE! I would tell an incoming freshmen that high school is a time in life when you will go through a lot and you will find who you really are, high school is a time when you grow as a person, on the inside and out, and that there are going to be rough patches in life, high school especially, but no matter how tough there will always be someone there to help you through it, even teachers can be there for you if you need them to be. High school is not middle school. Do your work, don't slack off, get involved, and try new things. Don t stress yourself out too much with work and studying. Allow yourself to have time to relax and unwind. Try your best. Do homework and some kind of school activity Involve yourself with the community, it's cliché but it helps you feel proud about where you go to. it s not as scary as you think it s going to be Get to know your teachers and your counselor s because they will help you a lot - but you have to ask. Participate in a lot of things, study, get help when you need it, treasure your time in high school; it goes by fast. Don't be stupid, study all the way until your senior year because it s well worth it. Do homework pass your classes do your homework be smart: surround yourself with positive influences and distance yourself from the negative Make sure you get your work done so in the end you can graduate with not much to do. Don t let anyone bring you down. Actually do your school work, but still have social time. High school is hard. & Liberty isn't the greatest. Have fun the next 4 years of your life freshmen! Use your planner don t be annoying Work hard. Don't throw it all away. Education comes first. keep your head up REALLY hit the books, but still have fun. Study > Friends. Simple as that get more involved and be yourself Be positive Be who you want to be. Take EVERY opportunity Do what you want to do. be involved

Don't fall behind on your work Make lots of friends, find something you love to do here, get to know your teachers, and pay attention to your homework. Be careful who you choose to hang out with because it's easy to get into the wrong things in high school. its only four years and it goes by fast so if you want to do something don t hesitate Don t slack off because it s worth it in the long run Don't slack off with your school work, especially freshman year, it all adds up in the end so don't screw yourselves over in the beginning. Make friends with the right people, and stop caring so much what people think of you, who cares, just be yourself. Actually do your homework, don't just check the back of the book. It will screw you over when you take the final. Stay true to yourself and don't let people mold you. Stay in school and behave get involved and do your best USE EXCEL WISELY-DON'T TRASH THE HALLS AND ACTUALLY USE THE TIME FOR STUDY. Get involved in the school Take the courses that are relevant to what you want to do after high school. Make every moment count, time flies by before you even realize it If you need help with studying or classes, ask for it. do your work so you don t have to worry about your senior year get good grades for college Find an activity that you fit into and make that your school family. make friends, and get good grades study think before you do do not slack off you first two years be prepared Get involved, work hard in school, and challenge yourself Don't freak out over the little things Take junior year seriously, and don't over book yourself when it comes to classes and free time. FRESHMAN YEAR COUNTS! Hard work really does pay off. have fun but take high school seriously, it s the new start of your own life Stay Focused, Choose your friends wisely, and work hard from the beginning. Do the homework work hard Be careful, choose your friends carefully, study hard, and build rapport with teachers so you are sure to pass the class because they WILL help you. It's not a popularity contest get good grades and involved

Work hard, do well, make the most of your time, and be nice to other people enjoy it, it's the time of your life
