LandRay s Business Purpose: A NEW-GENERATION GROUND PENETRATING RADAR 3 LandRay s PRODUCT1 and subsequent introductions will respond to needs left entirely unmet since the inception of ground penetrating radar. LandRay s continuing investment in subsurface object detection and mapping products will incorporate beta customer field use experience to advance user productivity, improve operational features, generate custom solutions for specific user categories, and provide the basis for subsequent product introductions.

ABOUT GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR) Ground Penetrating Radar functions much like radar used above ground. Antennas send signals through the ground which are reflected from buried objects and earth composition changes (e.g., the protrusion of a rock shelf into a sand field). Reflected radar signals containing information about the location and size of targeted objects are gathered by antennas, then filtered and processed into images. New Generation GPR System Requisites Reliable in-field performance u u operable in numerous soil types and terrains working depth fitting the survey requirement/selectable working depth certainty u u Devices that generate and manage the high quality signals necessary to accurately detect underground objects signal processing which accurately profiles subsurface conditions speed u u Standard engineering software for the timely creation of accurate maps and drawings, integrating depth and location of subsurface objects and features and a variety of mapping, analysis and project information broad scan swath universality u Adaptable to most graphic user interface alternatives 4 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

THE CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT IS ACCURACY 5 Users want to identify and document what is down there and where it is. Accurate maps of underground conditions are the base layer of a reliable site plan. A Pragmatic Business Strategy: continuous improvement of in-field performance Introduce PRODUCT1 q Launch production model PRODUCT1, which will: Leverage beta model customer operating experience at worksites to improve ease of use and output (map quality). continue to reduce purchase inhibitors by improving product performance q Invest to continue product development to serve the expanded market created by introduction of LandRay PRODUCT1 overcome technical hurdles to working depth and expand performance over a broader range of soils and complex infrastructure Adapt to specific graphic user interface requirements of currently unapproachable user categories Refine and enhance product performance for expanded market penetration q Provide industry-specific application features/functionality to further penetrate the market by increasing user satisfaction 10 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

A pragmatic GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION AND SERVICE PLAN 11 LandRay s pragmatic distribution and service plan is designed to establish user preference. Establish a network of qualified independent sales representatives in North America Pinpoint the most promising user categories and identify leading edge early adopter customers Establish global distribution and service team availability through partnerships with selected Global 1000 companies establish collaborative partnerships with mapping and drawing software companies (both developers and publishers)

A VIGOROUS Market CREATED BY UNMET NEEDS LandRay PRODUCT1 addresses a vigorous market. The introduction of PRODUCT1 will significantly expand the total market as LandRay s Digital Linear Frequency Modulation technology is broadly adopted. USER-DRIVEN Growth: Independent market research by Spar Point Research LLC estimates that the world market for non-invasive built conditions examination and documentation is growing and will continue to grow at 15% per annum because of societal trends. LandRay management estimates that there are at least 5,000 GPR systems currently in use in the US and Europe. Customer satisfaction with currently available GPR product performance is relatively low. More than 80% of annual GPR system purchases are first purchases of a single GPR unit, which is a clear indication that current product offerings have not been determined to be effective by organizations with user teams at multiple locations. 12 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

13

A forty-year HISTORY OF LIMITED USER ACCEPTANCE OF GROUND PENETRATING RADAR The two most prominent commercial platforms, impulse-based ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic sensing, have met with only limited acceptance because of performance deficiencies. LIMITATIONS OF CURRENT SYSTEMS Performance Criteria CURRENT SYSTEMS SUITABLE OPERATION IN MULTIPLE Soil Types SUITABLE PERFORMANCE IN A narrow range of soil TYPES Working Depth Shallow working depth (1' 5') Image Clarity Unclear, AMBIGUOUS Image Processing Speed and Data Output SPEED REQUIRES AN EXPERT S INTERPRETATION of FUZZY AND INEXACT Images ( SQUIGGLES ) AND AN EXPERT S RELIANCE UPON AUGMENTING FIELD NOTES Synchronization and Speed of Map Creation Significant time delays; days and weeks required 14 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

SQUIGGLES 15 Current GPR platform limitations are illustrated below, the graphic output of a survey to locate, identify, and map buried pipes. pipe squiggles require augmenting field notes and expert interpretation. BECAUSE THEY REQUIRE HUMAN INTERVENTION, Squiggles slow down the speed of DATA processing, the accuracy of DELIVERED information, and the speed of map creation.

THE LandRay PRODUCT1 PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE LandRay s new-generation ground penetrating radar is based on advanced Digital Linear Frequency Modulation technology and an innovative antenna design. This combination provides unprecedented performance advantages. u Field tests support a projection of suitable performance across approximately 80% of soil conditions. u Greater signal repeatability and data coherence results from the new LandRay DLFM radar technology, which will provide improved resolution, greater dynamic range, and faster data acquisition and processing speeds. u LandRay s innovative antenna design will allow the collection of dramatically larger data sets in significantly less time. u Rapid data processing of larger data sets will lead to improved image creation in near real time. These improved return signals, combined with noise suppression algorithms, will result in clearer object identification and lead to faster, superior images, and accurate mapping. u near-simultaneous map creation at the work site is made possible by highly refined signal processing algorithms and software engineering, allowing direct linkage to commercially available engineering and site plan mapping programs. u This unique LandRay technical solution will provide ease of use, which will eliminate the need for burdensome field notes, expert interpretation, and will eliminate costly time delays. 16 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

PROJECT COST REDUCTION 17 PRODUCT1 is designed to locate and accurately document underground conditions, allowing customers to maximize the efficiency of expensive excavation equipment and labor with an improved safety factor.

LANDRAY s PATENT ACTIVITY LandRay relies on patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property law, non-disclosure agreements and other protective measures to establish and preserve ownership of its technology, products and services. US 7,170,440 [Exp. December 2025] United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent US 7,170,440 was issued in January 2007 on LandRay s Digital Linear Frequency Modulated (DLFM) ground penetrating radar (GPR) system. US 7,391,362 [Exp. December 2025] United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent US 7,391,362 was issued in June 2008. This patent is a continuation of LandRay s application 11/298,203, now Patent No. 7,170,440, and claims alternative signal and signal management designs, greatly broadening the reach of US 7,170,440. u The patents describe a new form of ground penetrating radar made possible by novel signal generating and transmitting/receiving elements. A key feature of the system is the synchronous detection of return signals affected by time-of-flight delays from target objects This feature enables continuous, simultaneous transmission and reception of radar signals, greatly enhancing the data gathering capabilities of a GPR system Patent Cooperation Treaty Filing LandRay filed timely an application according to the Patent Cooperation Treaty to secure international recognition of United States Patent and Trademark Office No. US 7,170,440. LandRay intends to file for additional patents and copyright protection claiming other innovation deriving from PRODUCT1 design and build work. New filings might claim novel solutions for certain DLFM system components, DLFM signal processing software, and real-time imaging software. 18 LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT1: MARCH 2009

ABOUT LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY 19 LandRay is constructing a new-generation ground penetrating radar product. LandRay s new approach will fill clearly identified needs of users of subsurface object detection devices which are not now satisfied by existing products. In 2002, LandRay began a product development project based on two key elements, Digital Linear Frequency Modulated (DLFM) radar and a novel antenna design. Independent technical and market analyses suggest that this combination of breakthrough technologies will result in immediate user adoption. LandRay was organized in 1996 to create a commercial market for high power impulse generators designed by Power Spectra, Inc. Field tests of an initial product, Seeker, fitted for high-value metals exploration in tunnel mines, was successful. Recent advances in the areas of power generation and consumption, circuitry miniaturization, and imaging software make introduction of this multimetals exploration device feasible.
