The NAPA Newsletter 2017- Quarter 1 (January-April) From the Desk of the President With 2017 well underway, we are thankful for our mild winter weather thus far. And with March just around the corner, we will see flowers blooming in a blink. While Mother Nature continues to be kind, we have been busy! We have had a flurry of changes in the last couple of months...from a new payroll provider, ADP, to the merger of customer service with planning, and the addition of several new people. All of this focused on improving upon what I believe to be an already good, driver focused, friendly organization. I'm sure you have noticed we are parking and replacing the older equipment at a good pace. In fact, we just ordered 50 new Great Danes and 50 new Freightliners, as well as 50 newer reefers. We continue our efforts to reduce the age of the fleet. However, regardless of its age, the equipment needs you the driver to look it over each and every day to keep properly maintained. Please do your part! Thanks to Everyone! Onward and Upward Ron Accomando Together Each of us Accomplish More

Featured NAPA Office & Mechanic Employee Jessica has been a Driver Manager for 5 years! Jessica enjoys getting to know her Drivers on a somewhat personal level. She wants them to feel comfortable enough to be able to talk to her about anything that is on their mind. She said she realizes they can be out on the road for weeks at a time and it can be lonely. She says she thinks it s nice for them to know their nagging DM is also someone they can trust and talk to, should they need an ear. She has a huge respect for our Drivers. She said she could not do what they do. Outside of NAPA, you can find Jessica hanging with her 4 kids. She said It doesn t matter what they are doing, because every minute with them is a minute well spent! Her kids definitely keep her young, by playing basketball, kickball, baseball, and football with them when the weather permits. She has become the One Bounce Champion! Jessica s favorite seasons are Spring and Fall because she is the outdoorsy type. Whether it be playing sports with the kids, camping, riding the Harley, hunting, or lounging by a campfire, outside is where she wants to be! Tony has been a Mechanic with NAPA Transportation for about four years. He loves the people he works with and says we have a great crew! When Tony isn t working, he is spending time with his son, Sebastian (3). Tony says he enjoys the simple things in life like motorcycling and going to concerts! Page 3
