DAYDREAMING IN COLOUR Colouring in for grown-ups is a meditative and mindful practice where you are completely in the moment. While the basics of colouring-in are simple enough, there are many tips and tricks to help you create something special from the simplest drawing. In this workshop, presented by author Monique Day-Wilde, various colouring techniques will be demonstrated, using a range of media such as colour pencils, watercolour pencils, gel pens, blending sticks, etc. The colour wheel, mixing and blending colours and what colour schemes to use in your colouring projects will also be covered. Pieces of pallet wood assembled in an L-shape will be painted in a distressed technique. We are going to paint, dry brush, emboss and ombré-wash glass jars and attach them to our shelf. DECORATIVE MOSAIC BUNNY Create a fun décor item for your home or for someone special. In this workshop you will learn how to create a decorative mosaic bunny on A4 canvas using cutting techniques, shaving tiles and nipping.
