Be the first to claim the rooftop riches and you ll be the new boss of the Banana Bandits! COMPONENTS 2 Bonus Dice 6 Fight Dice 40 Cards 3 D Tower 44 Gorilla Coins 11 of each color 10 Banana Coins 4 Gorilla Markers 4 Gorilla Cardboard Figures BananaBandits_Rulebook.indd 3 3

SE TUP 1 Assemble the 3D Tower. 2 Place the Banana Coins on the 2 appropriate corners of the Tower roof. 3 Sort the Gorilla Coins by color and place them in the bank, comprised of the four bays adjacent to the Tower. Each coin color matches one of the Gorilla Markers (See Step 5). 4 Place the 6 Fight dice within reach of all players. (The 2 Bonus dice will only be used in special circumstances.) 5 5 Give each player a Gorilla marker and corresponding Figure. 6 Shuffle the Cards and deal each player 5 cards. Place the remaining cards in a facedown pile within reach of all players. 7 Each player places their Gorilla figure in any window space on the tower. There can only be one Gorilla figure in each window space. Then, randomly determine the first player. 4 BananaBandits_Rulebook.indd 4

GAMEPLAY On your turn, you have 3 Action Points (AP) to spend on the following actions: MOVE (1 AP) The Brown Gorilla successfully attacks a neighboring enemy and is able to move them 3 spaces! Their enemy drops 1 Gorilla Coin in each Window Space they leave. The Brown Gorilla would not be able to attack if his enemy were in one of the spaces marked in red. Move your Gorilla up to three Window Spaces on the Tower. You may not move diagonally, but you may move around a corner to the window on the adjacent side. Changing directions while moving is allowed, but you may not pass through or stop in Window Spaces with another Gorilla. FIGHT (1 AP) Attack a Gorilla orthogonally adjacent (up, down, left, or right) to your Gorilla. To attack, roll the 6 Fight dice and count up the Hit symbols ). Then, the defending Gorilla does the same. ( If the attacking Gorilla rolled the same or more than the defending Gorilla, move the defending Gorlla 3 Window Spaces in a straight line (up, down, left, or right). If there is another Gorilla in the way, or if there are not enough Window Spaces, move the defending Gorilla as far as possible. The defending Gorilla must place 1 Gorilla Coin of their color, from the bank, in each Window Space that they leave during this movement. The attacker also steals 1 Gorilla Coin of their choice from the defender s collected pile (if they have any). If the defending Gorilla rolls more your attack and nothing happens. Additionally, you may attack a Gorilla that is in the opposite Window, through the Tower! the Grey Gorilla can Fight the Brown Gorilla, who s in the window directly opposite to them, but they can t fight the Red Gorilla., they successfully block 5 BananaBandits_Rulebook.indd 5

COLLECT (1 AP) FREE ACTIONS (0 AP) Collect all the Gorilla Coins hanging in the Window Space where your Gorilla is currently located. GETTING BANANA COIN TIP: Try to gather the Gorilla Coins of your opponents! You can t use your own Coins when grabbing Banana Coins from the roof! As a Free Action (an action which costs 0 AP), you may take a Banana Coin from the Tower Roof by spending 2 Gorilla Coins that you have collected from 2 different opponents. To take a Banana Coin from the Tower roof, you must be in one of the two appropriate Window Spaces, marked on the Tower. DRAW (1 AP) Draw enough cards from the common pile until you have 5 cards in your hand. You may not discard from your hand before performing this action. Your Gorilla must be in a Window Space on the bottom floor of the Tower to perform this action. The Grey Gorilla can take a Banana Coin by spending a White and a Red Gorilla Coin, they may not spend one of their own. You may perform a single action multiple times, and you may choose to perform different actions in whichever order you choose. 6 BananaBandits_Rulebook.indd 6
