TRANSLUCENT STAINS: Glistening Rose, Glistening Blue and Shimmering Brown. SPEICIALTIES: Twilight Blue and Baby Kisses Shimmers. Water Base Gold. GLAZE: Clear Glaze. OVERGLAZE: Bright Gold. GLAZE: Black ballerina s crown and both ballerina base s as shown with Clear Glaze as directed on jar. Fire to proper cone. OVERGLAZE: Apply and fire Bright Gold overglaze as directed by manufacturer. BASECOAT: Black flesh with Deep Brown. DRYBRUSH: Deep Brown areas with 2 to 3 coats of Walnut. Blush cheeks and lips lightly with Burgundy in your brush. BASECOAT: White children s and cherub s flesh with Dark Flesh, white graduation cap and gown, graduation scrolls and praying girl s bunny with Bone. Blonde hair with Country Gold; brown hair with Walnut. Pink nightgown and ballerina s shoes, outfits and bases with Pink Mix. Graduation boy s collar with Bone, tie with Black and cap and gown with Night Blue. Boy s pajamas with Sky Blue, blanket with Bone and his bear with Deep Brown. Angel s apple with Christmas Red.

ANTIQUE: All basecoated areas with Shimmering Brown. Apply the antique carefully to black ballerina s shoes and outfit to avoid getting any on her flesh. Wipe off excess with a soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: All white flesh areas with 2 to 3 light coats of Dark Flesh, lightly blush cheeks with Peach Blush. Drybrush blonde hair with one coat of Country Gold followed with Dark Blonde and highlighted with Vanilla. Drybrush boy s blue pajamas with 1 coat of Sky Blue followed with 2 to 3 coats of Vanilla added to Sky Blue. Drybrush Ballerina s outfits, shoes and girl s nightgown with one coat of Pink Mix, followed with 2 to 3 coats of Vanilla added to the Pink Mix. Drybrush Bone areas with 1 coat of Bone followed with 2 to 3 coats of Vanilla followed with White to highlight. Drybrush dark blue cap and gown with Night Blue followed with a small amount of Sky Blue added to your brush to highlight. Drybrush tie with Black. Drybrush praying bear with 2 to 3 coats of Walnut followed with Medium Brown and Country Gold. Highlight with Vanilla and blush cheeks with Peach Blush. BASECOAT: Cherub s wings neatly with Bone. Rebasecoat graduation girl s hair with Walnut. ANTIQUE: Pink wings with Glistening Rose and blue wings with Glistening Blue. Carefully wipe off excess with a soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: Wings with Bone followed with White to highlight. Drybrush Walnut hair very lightly with Medium Brown followed with Country Gold and Vanilla to highlight. Drybrush red apple with Burgundy followed with Christmas Red to brighten. SHADE: Using Medium Brown, shade ballerina s outfits, all blonde hair and other areas as shown. PAINT: All eyes and eyelashes. Apply Baby Kisses Shimmers to ballerina s tutu s and pink cherub wings. Apply Twilight Blue Shimmers to blue cherub wings. Paint Water Base Gold to graduation gowns as shown. Paint lips to white children and cherubs as desired. MATERIALS NEEDED

OPAQUE STAINS: Bone, Antique Rose, Night Blue, Sky Blue, Confederate Gray, Pale Gray, Soft Pink, Soft Purple, Celery, Soft Blue, Dark Blonde, Country Gold, Teal Blue, Royal Purple, PINK MIX 3:1 Soft Pink and Antique Rose, Vanilla, White and Black. TRANSLUCENT STAINS: Glistening Rose, Shimmering Bark and Glistening Blue. SPECIALTIES: Water Base Gold. SHIMMERS: Sparkling Amethyst, Baby Kisses and Twilight Blue. FAIRY DUST: Sweet Violet, Sweet Nothing and Honeysuckle. OVERGLAZE: Bright Gold. GLAZE: Clear Glaze. MISC: Aurora crystals and rhinestones. Castle lighting and music kit. PREPARATION: While greenware is still damp, place all necessary holes for lighting and music box. Slip attach castle towers; if the towers are to be lit up, cut holes in castle and towers to allow light inside attached towers. GLAZE: Top of castle towers, unicorn hooves and horn using clear glaze; fire to proper cone. OVERGLAZE: Apply and fire Bright Gold overglaze as directed by manufacturer. BASECOAT: Unicorn Castle as follows: Clouds, moon on music turntable and unicorn with Bone. ANTIQUE: Clouds with Glistening Blue (don t forget clouds on base of unicorn) and unicorn with Glistening Rose. Antique moon with Shimmering Bark. Wipe off excess with soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: Clods, moon and unicorn with 2 to 3 coats of Bone followed with 1 to 2 highlight coats of Vanilla and then White to highlight. BASECOAT: Stairs and road on castle with Country Gold. DRYBRUSH: Country Gold areas with Dark Blonde followed with Vanilla to highlight. BASECOAT: Pink areas of castle with Pink Mix. Unicorn s rainbow mane with the following colors: Soft Pink, Soft Blue, Soft Purple, Dark Blonde, and Celery Green. Drybrush each of these areas with the same color with Vanilla added. Lightly highlight the entire mane with Vanilla.

DRYBRUSH: Pink areas of the castle with Vanilla added to the Pink Mix. Highlight with Vanilla. BASECOAT: Castle turrets, castle trim, blue area in between clouds and night side of turntable with Night Blue. Rebasecoat gray areas of castle with Confederate Gray. DRYBRUSH: These Night Blue areas (except the music turntable) with Night Blue and Sky Blue in your brush 2 to 3 coats. Highlight with a small amount of Vanilla added to your brush. Drybrush gray areas of castle with Confederate Gray and Pale Gray added to your brush. PAINT: Rainbow stripes with these colors as follows: Soft Pink, Soft Purple, Soft Blue, Dark Blonde, and Celery Green. Paint starts with Dark Blonde. Paint sky area with Sky Blue. Paint on Fairy Dust and/or Shimmers to areas as follows: Sweet Nothing Pink areas of castle. Honeysuckle castle road and stairs. Baby Kisses to unicorn and Twilight Blue to castle, clouds and music turntable. FINISH: Clean stain from gold areas using a damp cloth. Glue rhinestones and crystals as desired. Install wire and music box kit. DRAGON CASTLE MUSIC BOX GLAZE: Top of turrets with clear glaze, fire to proper cone. OVERGLAZE: Apply and fire Bright Gold to clear glazed areas as instructed by manufacturer. BASECOAT: Clouds and moon on music turntable with Bone. ANTIQUE: Clouds with Glistening Rose and moon with Shimmering Bark. Wipe off excess with a soft cloth. DRYBRUSH: Clouds with 2 to 3 coats of Bone followed with White to highlight. BASECOAT: All other areas of castle and dragon and night side of music turntable with Night Blue. Paint rainbow side of turntable using the following colors: Soft Pink, Soft Purple, Soft Blue, Dark Blonde, and Celery Green. Paint sky area with Sky Blue. DRYBRUSH: Referring to the flyer, drybrush teal blue areas of castle and dragon with Teal Blue highlighted with Vanilla in your brush. Drybrush purple areas with Royal Purple followed with a light coat of Vanilla added to your brush, lightly highlight with Vanilla. Drybrush pink area of dragon with Pink Mix highlighted with Vanilla.

PAINT: Paint 1 to 2 coats of Sparkling Amethyst Shimmer to entire castle, clouds and dragon. Allow to dry. Paint Twilight Blue Shimmer to music turntable. DRYBRUSH: Clouds with Bone and then White to lighten. SHADE: Dragon and castle with Black for better definition. PAINT: Sweet Violet Fairy Dust to Cloud crevasses. Paint Water Base Gold to dragon as shown. Clean off fired gold with a damp cloth. FINISH: Glue crystals and rhinestones as desired. Install wire and music kit. DRAGONS Mold Numbers J-1559 Castle in Clouds J-1560 Rainbow Turntable for Castle J-1561 Unicorn J-1562 Castle Dragon J-1578 Dragon with Wings Open J-1579 Walking Dragon J-1580 Dragon Box MATERIALS NEEDED GLAZE: Clear Glaze OVERGLAZE: Bright Gold OPAQUE STAINS: Night Blue, Royal Purple, Hot Pink, Vanilla, Sherwood Green, Marigold, Country Gold, Parrot Green, Dark Blonde, Bright Orange, Burgundy, Black, Dark Forest Green and White. SPECIALTIES: Water Base Gold, Regency Gold and Ruby Glitter It. MISC: Several sizes of pointed back rhinestones and crystal globes. PREPARATION: While cast is still damp, place hold for music box and electrical cord in castle. Using the #1 Clay Lift tool, cut windows out in castle. Clean and fire to cone 05. GLAZE: Apply clear glaze to all areas of the dragons, unicorn and castles that will be overglazed. Fire to cone 06. OVERGLAZE: Apply Bright Gold to all fired glazed areas following manufacturer s instructions. Fire to cone 019.

BASECOAT: Color to area as follows: BLACK: Dragon with wings open. NIGHT BLUE: Clouds, walking dragon and blue dragon box. All areas of the music turntables except the rainbow. HOT PINK: To clouds on unicorn s castle and unicorn s base. VANILLA: To the remaining areas of the castle, unicorn, white dragon, moon on turntable and clouds of walking dragon. SHERWOOD GREE: To green dragon box. OVER PAINT: Excluding the black dragon, over paint all stained areas of dragons, unicorn, castles and turntables using the following instructions: Using Water Base Gold and a large brush, quickly apply the paint generously to all the stained areas, before the paint dries, use a clean large brush and quickly pat clean water over the gold and let the gold flow into the crevices allowing the background color to show through. The piece will be dripping so it is best to do this over a sink or a good amount of paper towels. Place in front of a fan to speed dry. DRYBRUSH: All NIGHT BLUE areas with 3 to 4 coats of Night Blue. Continue the turntable by lightening up the blue area of the rainbow side by adding Sky Blue to your brush. Continue the blue dragon box with 2 to 3 coats of Sky Blue added to your brush, highlight with Vanilla in your brush. Continue purple dragon and clouds with 2 coats of Royal Purple. Follow with 3 to 4 coats adding more and more Vanilla in your brush with each additional coat. Drybrush pink clouds with 1 coat of Hot Pink; follow with additional coats of Vanilla added to your brush. Highlight with Vanilla. Using Vanilla, drybrush all vanilla areas with 2 coats. Highlight clouds on dragon base and unicorn s body with White. Drybrush green dragon with 2 coats of Sherwood Green. Adding Marigold to your brush, highlight wings, face and belly of dragon; adding Vanilla to this, highlight the same areas. Using Country Gold, drybrush cheek area of dragon on boxes. SHADE: Boxes and walking dragon with Black for better definition. PAINT TOP COAT: Mix 4:1 water and Water Base Gold. Carefully paint a thin, even, non-dripping coat to castle clouds. PAINT: All eyes. Paint starts on turntable with Water Base Gold and carefully paint rainbow using Soft Blue, Soft Purple, Celery, Soft Pink and Dark Blonde. Using Regency Gold Glitter It, apply to all stained areas of the pieces; allow to dry. FINISH: Remove all excess paint from glazed gold areas by lightly dampening and removing the acrylic paint gently. DRYBRUSH: Red Dragon: Drybrush jewel mound with Black Forest Green followed with a highlight coat of Sherwood Green. Drybrush red area of dragon with 2 coats of Burgundy followed with 2 to 3 coats of Christmas Red. Add Bright

Orange to your brush to highlight. Using Marigold, drybrush yellow areas of Dragon 2 to 3 coats; follow with a small amount of Bright Orange in your brush. PAINT: Ruby Glitter It to red areas and Regency Gold Glitter It to all other areas. Paint eyes. FINISH: Glue pointed back jewels to jewel mound as desired.
