RG 015/03 Washburn Shops WPI History Collection - Washburn Shops Scope and Content RG 015/03 These materials document much of the history of the Washburn Shops, from its beginnings until the Shops closed in 1955. There are records of the Shop Committee from 1894-1914. There are financial reports from 1873-1937. Also included are Shop Catalogs, reports from shop superintendents and teachers, an early grade book, a scrapbook of ads, and photographs of products and work in the shops, as well as drawings of shop products. There are catalogs and brochures and two notebooks, at least one of which belonged to L. W. Rawson, long-time shop superintendent. There are agreements between Washburn Shops and clients. This collection also includes two drawing stands and some medals and metal labels which were attached to items made in the Shops.
