MAGNOLIA CENTER (Exhibit Hall) Check in Monday, July 17 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Check out- Thursday, July 20 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Ages 8-18 may enter one exhibit from each line item. The total number of exhibits entered may not exceed 25. 1. Staff reserves the right to reject exhibits that do not meet quality standards or the listed requirements. 2. The exhibitor must be youth ages 5-18. 3. All exhibits must have been constructed or prepared by the exhibitor since September, 2016 and never entered as an exhibit in Lee County. 4. All exhibits must entered at owner s risk. Every article on exhibit shall be under the control of the fair management. While every precaution will be taken to safeguard the same, neither the management nor workers will be responsible for any loss, damage or accident that may occur. 5. 4-H ers may exhibit more than one per line item in their main 4-H project. 6. Leniency will be granted to Novice (first time) exhibitors. 7. The decision of the judges is final and no appeal will be considered. 8. No exhibits will be accepted by mail. To expedite registration, it is recommended that you obtain an Exhibitor number and entry tags form the Extension Office. Each exhibit will be classified as Blue, Red or White if it is of the quality that merits a ribbon. Exhibits will be displayed by the age of the exhibitor. A BEST OF SHOW will be chosen for each age group. Best of Show ribbons pay $15; Blue Ribbons pay $6 and Red Ribbons pay $3. White Ribbons or disqualified entries pay no premium. Blue ribbons will be displayed. Red and white ribbon exhibits will be displayed only if space is available. Items not made by the youth exhibitor, or items previously exhibited, will be disqualified and no premium will be paid.

Division Bug Shop Insects should be spread & pinned according to instructions in Ext. Pub. #317-Intro. to Entomology. The pin holding the insect should have the collector s name, county, date of collection and common name of insect. Must not have been exhibited in prior years unless new specimens have been added. Division Baked Goods Class 10 Items to be made from mix or from scratch. No purchased cookies, brownies, or purchased dough. Items are to be mixed and placed in pan by youth. An adult, if needed, should assist youth with hot oven and hot pans. It is recommended that baked goods be exhibited on paper plates and covered with cellophane wrap.
