Our network will host 3 (maybe more) in-person, live events every 6 months. You must attend at least 2 of them to do a live group podcast network show together discussing what we are learning in podcasting, answer each others questions in the spirit of mentorship, and to share podcast challenges you ve overcame. Think of it as a live-recorded mastermind group. These will be recorded for a later book-writing project in 2019 where we will each write a chapter, based on these in-person, live episodes. Keep this in mind when participating, and take extensive notes. Tone: Tone of podcast must promote empowerment, equality, community, camaraderie, integrity, and inspiration. Gossip on your podcast, in private, or in public about any other podcasters within the LG Podcast Network will not be tolerated. Participation is a privilege. Consider this your 1 written warning regarding this matter. This applies to your guests, guest hosts, and co-hosts. Path to Resolution: Conflict will be handled swiftly, directly, and professionally, with mediation as needed. By signing below, you commit to our conflict resolution process in Appendix B. Theme: Choose a theme for your podcast. Chosen theme may not change without a written request for change and an amendment to this agreement.
Launch Day: Agree to choose a consistent launch day and stick to it. No exceptions. No changes. Marketing: Agree to add the LG Podcast Network logo to your website. Additionally, use the logo to as much as makes sense to your creative content in newsletters, email signatures, social media, press, flyers, FB events, FB ads, etc. In addition to the 120 seconds of cross-promotion on each podcast episode, podcasters are required to cross-promote other members content in-person and on social media at least once per month. Monitoring: LG Podcast Network is not responsible for policing and monitoring your content. If we learn you are not in accordance with this agreement, we will investigate using our path to resolution, and if found in breech of contract your agreement will be terminated. Sponsorships: We own 120 seconds of your podcast to advertise relevant, appropriate content of our choice. This will be: A. a commercial from other podcasters within the LG Podcast Network, and/or B. sponsorship we have sold for the LG Podcast Network. Additional sponsorships and promotions are up to you to sell, manage, organize, create, produce, and send to our podcast editor at LG Designs for inclusion into your episodes. Licensing: You own your content once we have launched it to your platform(s). You can share it or license it any way, and any where you wish. We will not be entitled to any royalties of your content, only sponsorships that we sell ourselves during our 120 seconds. Liability: In no event will the LG Podcast Network or LG Designs or its owners or employees be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of intellectual property, consequential damages, or any other loss) arising out of, or in connection with the content created by a podcaster or any other third party in connection with the podcaster. Anything else must be agreed upon in writing. From time to time, we may choose to add additional services at no charge. This is especially true if your podcast is doing well and bringing a lot of positive visibility to the LG Podcast Network. If we choose to gift extra value to you or others within the LG Podcast Network, that is not an indication you/they will begin to receive those services regularly. Next Steps: 1. Click Add a To-Do and under the headline Add a new To-Do put (DATE) Guest Name 4. Assign the task to Dane 5. Add Due Date to reflect the DAY OF THE PODCAST LAUNCH 6. Add to the body section: 1. Guest s name 2. Title 3. Company 4. Website 5. contact info 6. show notes 7. the audio file you recorded - Format should be.mp4 8. timestamps for cutting edits, but only if you absolutely MUST, pls keep edits to an absolute minimum, so podcast is more conversational and natural 7. To save and finish, click Add this To-Do 8. Podcast will launch on the same day every time, for consistency 9. If automation has been setup, then social media and/or a blog post may also be published at the same time 10. If blog automation is added, then it is your responsibility to manage additional features you wish to include on any blog post: tags, categories, additional notes, transcripts, featured image, additional links, SEO, etc.
