Gift Design by Gina Tepper Golden Magnolia These beautiful floral gifts capture the warm gold and brown tones of fall. Gold patterned scrapbooking paper, silk flowers and beads create a stunning design that is perfect for any occasion. 1

Small Box Difficulty Easy Materials Gold matte wrapping paper Gold patterned scrapbooking paper 1-inch-wide gold sheer metallic ribbon 2 gold facetted beads 2 small oval metallic bronze beads 1 gold silk magnolia flower (stem removed) Scotch Gift Wrap Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape (for wrapping gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (for cutting scrapbooking paper and ribbon) Scotch Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing beads and flower) Instructions 1. Wrap a box in the gold wrapping paper using either Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape. 2. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the gold tone patterned scrapbooking paper the 1/2 inch smaller than the length of the box and 2 inches smaller than width of the top of the box. 3. Using the Scotch Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the scrapbooking paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the top of the box, centered between the edges. 2

4. Cut a piece of the sheer ribbon long enough to wrap around the width of the box plus 1 inch. 5. Wrap the ribbon around the box overlapping and gluing the ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue. 6. Fan open the magnolia flower so the inside of the flower is showing. Apply a generous amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of the flower and attach it to the center of the box over the gold ribbon. Apply a small amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the beads and attach them to the box in the configuration shown below. Let dry. 3

Continue to add small amounts of glue to the ribbon a few inches at a time, slightly overlapping the ribbon as you continue to wrap the ribbon around the handle. 8.
