Small Box Difficulty Easy Materials Gold matte wrapping paper Gold patterned scrapbooking paper 1-inch-wide gold sheer metallic ribbon 2 gold facetted beads 2 small oval metallic bronze beads 1 gold silk magnolia flower (stem removed) Scotch Gift Wrap Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape (for wrapping gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (for cutting scrapbooking paper and ribbon) Scotch Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing beads and flower) Instructions 1. Wrap a box in the gold wrapping paper using either Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape. 2. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the gold tone patterned scrapbooking paper the 1/2 inch smaller than the length of the box and 2 inches smaller than width of the top of the box. 3. Using the Scotch Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the scrapbooking paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the top of the box, centered between the edges. 2
4. Cut a piece of the sheer ribbon long enough to wrap around the width of the box plus 1 inch. 5. Wrap the ribbon around the box overlapping and gluing the ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue. 6. Fan open the magnolia flower so the inside of the flower is showing. Apply a generous amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of the flower and attach it to the center of the box over the gold ribbon. Apply a small amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the beads and attach them to the box in the configuration shown below. Let dry. 3
Gift Bag This gift bag can be made ahead of time and saved for that special event. This beautiful bag is sure to be reused again and again. Difficulty Easy Materials Matte gold gift bag with stiff handles (plain gift bags are inexpensive and easy to find at your local craft or party store) Gold tone patterned scrapbooking paper 1-inch-wide gold sheer metallic ribbon 3 gold facetted beads 3 bronze faux pearl beads 2 small oval metallic bronze beads 3 amber silk flowers (stems removed) Gold and bronze tissue paper Scotch Precision Scissors (for cutting scrapbooking paper and ribbon) Scotch Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing beads) Instructions 1. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the gold patterned scrapbooking paper the entire width and 2-1/2 inches smaller than the length of the front of the bag. 2. Using the Scotch Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the scrapbooking paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the bag lining up the bottom edge of the paper with the bottom edge of the bag. 4
3. Cut a piece of the metallic sheer ribbon the entire width of the front of the gift bag. 4. Using the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue, attach the gold ribbon to the front of the gift bag, centered over the edges of the scrapbooking paper. Small amounts of glue can be added to the cut edges of each side of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 5. Apply a generous amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the flowers and attach to the bag in the configuration shown below. Apply a small amount glue to the back of each of the pearl beads and attach them to the center of each of the flowers. 5
5. Apply a small amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the beads and attach them to the ribbon in the configuration shown below.. 6. To cover the handles, apply a small amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to a few inches of the back of the sheer gold ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. 7. Continue to add small amounts of glue to the ribbon a few inches at a time, slightly overlapping the ribbon as you continue to wrap the ribbon around the handle. 8. Finish by cutting the ribbon and gluing the end behind the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. Repeat this process with the other handle. 6
9. Fill the bag with layered tissue paper. 7 7
Rectangular Box This design can be adapted to almost any size or shape box. Difficulty Easy Materials Gold matte wrapping paper Gold tone patterned scrapbooking paper 1-inch-wide gold sheer metallic ribbon (a color that coordinates with the scrapbooking paper) 2 bronze faux pearl beads 6 gold facetted beads 4 small oval metallic bronze beads 2 gold silk magnolia flower (stems removed) 2 amber silk flowers (stems removed) Scotch Gift Wrap Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape (for wrapping gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (for cutting scrapbooking paper and ribbon) Scotch Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing beads) Instructions 1. Wrap a box in gold colored wrapping paper using either Scotch Double Sided Tape or Scotch Pop-Up Tape. 2. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the scrapbooking paper 1 inch smaller than the width and the full length the top of the box. 3. Using the Scotch Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper especially around the edges. Attach the craft paper to the box, lining up the edge of the paper with the top and bottom edge of the box. 8
4. Apply a generous amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of the each of the flowers and attach them to the center of the box. 5. Cut a two pieces of the sheer ribbon long enough to wrap around the length of the box plus 1 inch. 6. Wrap the ribbon around the box centered over each edge of the scrapbooking paper. Overlap and glue the ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue. 7. Apply a generous amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the amber flowers and attach to the top of the box above and below the magnolia flowers. Apply a small amount glue to the back of each of the pearl beads and attach them to the center of each of the flowers. 9
8. Apply a small amount of Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the beads and attach them to the each of the ribbons in the configuration shown below. 10
