Collect the paints and pencils and put the class work away. For school time is over and it s summer holidays!! GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Revise the syllabus covered till date (for all the subjects). Bring holiday homework in a beautifully decorated folder. Parents are requested to only guide the children while doing the homework. Homework/ Project will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity and originality of ideas. A separate notebook (3 in 1) should be made for doing Hindi, Math and S.st homework. Do English and Science homework on A4 size sheets. ENGLISH Q.1 Read at least one book from the list given below:- a. The ginger bread man b. Sly fox and red hen c. The three little pigs d. Town mouse and country mouse Make a pictorial banner stating the moral values which you have learnt from the story. Q.2 Read lesson 1 to 3 of your text book and find 30 difficult words. Use dictionary to find their respective meaning, thereafter make your own mini dictionary by arranging the words alphabetically and writing their meaning. Add pictures to make it attractive. Q.3 Read newspaper daily (student s corner). Cut any 5 crossword puzzles and solve it. Paste them on A-4 size sheet. Q.4 Pick out any five words everyday from the newspaper, magazines and storybooks for seven days. Cut and paste them on A4 size sheet. The words should be bold and should have the vowels and blends.
