The formed end caps add strength and provide a mounting surface for the shelf brackets. The ends are spot welded to the main shelf pan. Constructed from 11/16 M-3 grade engineered particleboard material with HPL plastic laminate on the both faces to make a nominal ¾ thick panel.. The rear lip on all shelves is laser cut and formed 14 gauge sheet metal protruding 1 ¼ above the top of the shelf surface. The optional front post and rail style lip is constructed from 3/8 diameter machined aluminum vertical posts with cross drilled holes for the horizontal rails. The post is secured to the shelf with #8-32 machine screws from the bottom side. The horizontal rails are constructed from precision ground 3/16 diameter stainless steel rod that run the full width of the shelf. Joints are connected using a high grade spring steel clip and shoulder screw assembly that interlock and form a rigid, strong joint. Cabinet back panels use additional flat head wood screws at the top and bottom to lock them in place. Drawer Construction Constructed from ½ thick M-2 grade thermally fused melamine engineered particleboard with the top edges banded with.020 color matched PVC edgeband. Corner joints use 5mm wood dowel construction and the platform style bottom is attached with #6 wood screws. Drawer slides are European style bottom mount, standard extension, epoxy coated captive roller design with a Grade #1 rating and 100 lb capacity. Door & Drawer Fronts Hanging Bracket System Constructed from 11/16 M-3 grade engineered particleboard material with HPL plastic laminate on the outside face and a balancing cabinet liner material on the inside to make a nominal ¾ thick panel Exposed edges are banded with 3mm thick color matching PVC edgeband. Handles are aluminum 5/16 diameter U shape with 96mm mounting holes and a clear anodized finish. Hinges are a 170 degree full overlay design. Constructed from laser cut 7 and 11 gauge sheet metal. The rear brackets are formed into an L shape to grasp the rear hanging rail on the table system. The front brackets are two sub-assemblies that allow the bracket to slide back, hook over the front table hanging rail and lock back into place via a thumb screw knob. No tools are required for mounting or removing the cabinets.
