2 Mortice Lock Furniture Kaba Australia has been designing & developing Door furniture in Australia for over 30 years. In using this experience as well as consulting with various markets, Kaba Australia has developed the 2900 Series furniture. This custom designed 2900 Series range of hardware is specifically manufactured for use in Detention Facilities, Mental Health Facilities and any areas where a high risk of vandalism is an issue such as Councils, Schools, Hospital s etc.

3 Mortice Lock Furniture The Kaba 2900 Series flat form square door furniture is designed for use with contemporary Australian manufactured mortice locks and latches. Kaba recommends the use of the MSE Extended Backset version of Mortice Lock. Features The handles are designed with smooth surfaces and edges making this a true Harm Minimization range including minimal Ligature and Impact points. This range has been developed for the reduced risk of vandalism. All models with cylinder holes have Cylinder Guards in various sizes as standard. Models that require a turn snib, are supplied with a clutching feature for key over-ride. All concealed fixed plates are supplied with 4 x Post Torx Anti Tamper Screws. - Snake Eyed Screws available on request. Using the classic Kaba 1500 Series Furniture as a basis for this design, it maintains all of the features such as Security,. Strength and Durability, as well as maintaining convenience and aesthetics of the door. The construction of all the plates are of a high quality 316 Grade Stainless Steel (except the flush pull FP Brass with a satin nickel plate finish). Door Thickness The Kaba 2900 Series Plate door furniture suits door thickness from 32mm minimum to 50mm maximum. Thicker doors require extended spindles, turn bars and longer tiebolt fixing screws. Application The product is designed for use with the Kaba MS and MSE Series Mortice locks. Fixing Plates are designed to fit back to back with concealed fixing from outside plate.
