A U R I G A 0 0 4 Professional precise flexible The basic idea behind the complete AURIGA series is to achieve excellent results in the smallest of spaces.

The AURIGA 04 offers a novelty: joint milling in the compact class. As in the larger series, the boards are prepared for edge banding with a joint milling module.

The powerful, partially scanning modules process reel material up to mm and strip material up to 6 mm (optional in the AURIGA 04).

Adhesive surface pads on the chain transport the workpiece accurately through the machine.

2 A U R I G A Professional precise flexible The basic idea behind the complete AURIGA series is to achieve excellent results in the smallest of spaces. The 0 04 has also been designed to quickly work economically it is ready for immediate use. This extremely compact (.55 metres) unit has a powerful module package for perfect edges. The AURIGA 04 offers a novelty: joint milling in the compact class. As in the larger series, the boards are prepared for edge banding with a joint milling module. The 0 04 also offers great flexibility in finishing with a choice of three modules. Joint milling with adjustable feed rule and two powerful milling motors in the AURIGA 04. The powerful, partially scanning modules process reel material up to mm and strip material up to 6 mm (optional in the AURIGA 04). C O N T R O L The AURIGA control system is spot on The modern, graphic-based control system makes for easy and individual operation of the AURIGA Selector switch for joint milling (ON/ OFF). Exact temperature control of the HOLZ-HER nozzle system for glue application via two heating circuits. The magazine can be easily switched over from reel to strip material. Pre-trimming of reel material with an impact cylinder. Trimming unit can be switched off for pointed and out-of-square parts. Trimming module 98 can be pneumatically pivoted from the control panel. Optional milling module 87 can be pneumatically switched from flush to radius milling or fully extended and retracted pneumatically. Selector switch for flat scraper option (ON/ OFF). Premilling in confined spaces The 80 joint milling module takes up hardly any space but has two powerful milling motors. Climb and conventional milling with diamond-tipped tools (Z = ) guarantee perfect results. The first miller head has a pneumatic plunge control. The patented ProLock screw-in clamping system (Fig. ) ensures quick tool changes. The feed rule can be adjusted by mm on the surface-hardened guides. Height-adjustable tools. From a joint milling module for the AURIGA 04, edging magazines, the unbeatable HOLZ-HER glue application systems, cutting and trimming modules through to individually configured finishing, up to eight powerful modules are available for perfect edging. Innovative glue application 906 MG 80 Premilling The 0 04 is equipped with the patented HOLZ-HER 906 MG cartridge system as standard. The glue is applied exactly as required. This saves costs and optimises the quality. No discoloration or scorching of the glue since only the glue needed is actually melted in the system. The quick cartridge change is a particular boon. This allows a fast and rational changeover from EVA to PUR glue or different glue colours (Fig. ). Extremely short heating-up time of.5 minutes. Scanning nozzles for precise glue application. Glue application The patented HOLZ-HER cartridge system nozzle technology ensures secure retension and clean joints. With the alternative granulate chute the glue can be processed in granulate form and applied with the 906 MG nozzle system.
