38 Frequently Asked Questions What length of stair rod should I order? Zoroufy recommends stair rods be at least 1-1/2 inches longer than the carpet runner width. If a runner is 27" wide, order stair rods that are at least 28-1/2" long. This allows 1/4" space between the runner and bracket. What length of wall hanger should I order? Classic, Regency, and Grand Regency Wall Hangers should be ordered 1-1/2" longer than the rug or tapestry. If the rug or tapestry is longer than, add-on sets are available to extend the length of the wall hanger. If using wall hanger clips with the Legacy Adjustable Wall Hanger, the Legacy Wall Hanger will be adjusted to the exact length of the tapestry. If the tapestry is, order a Legacy Wall Hanger that is 28-. If opting not to use the Legacy Wall Hanger clips, order a wall hanger 1-1/2" longer than the width of the tapestry. Can stair rods and wall hangers be custom cut? Zoroufy offers custom cutting at no additional charge for both stair rods and wall hangers. It is recommended that rods be cut 1-1/2 inches longer than the runner or wall hanging width. What is the difference between tubular and solid rods? Tubular rods are hollow while solid rods are not. Both styles are equally durable. Can stair rods be used over runners on existing carpet? Longer screws are available by request in cases where a carpet runner is installed over existing carpet. Will stair rods fit over thick pile carpet? Zoroufy offers the extended end bracket in the Heritage Collection to accommodate thick pile (over 3/4") carpet and runners. Will stair rods or stair-holds secure a carpet runner to the stairs? Zoroufy Stair Rods are designed for decorative purposes only. Another means of carpet installation must be used. Can stair rods be bent to fit curved stairs? Yes, Zoroufy recommends using the solid rods from the Heritage or Dynasty Collections for curved staircases. What is the difference between a floor register and a vent? A floor register has a damper that can be opened or closed to control air flow. A floor vent does not have a damper. Does Zoroufy require a minimum order? Zoroufy does not require a minimum purchase on any products. What is the recommended care and cleaning for Zoroufy products? Zoroufy products have a protective lacquer coating to resist tarnishing. Use only a soft, dry cloth when cleaning stair rods. Cleansers and abrasives may remove the protective lacquer coating and cause tarnishing. When cleaning carpet, runner, or surrounding areas with chemicals or any liquid, remove Zoroufy products and replace when area is dry. If cleaning natural finish wood floor register or vent, use only a dry cloth. 38

FREIGHT/SHIPPING Most orders ship within 24 hours of receiving the sales order. Orders only ship after they have been paid for. All delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed by Zoroufy. Expedited shipping services are available upon request at an additional cost. All orders over $ will be insured. The buyer is responsible for shipping charges on all orders and returns. Zoroufy cannot accept a return or provide a refund for items that have been mishandled, damaged, stained, painted, installed, or show signs of installation. No cash refunds will be given. WOOD PRODUCT WARRANTY Zoroufy does not cover damage due to cleaning, climate, installation, wood finishing, or any general wear and use over time. Due to the natural variations in wood product, the vent may vary in color and/or finish as it ages and is not considered a manufacturing defect. Zoroufy is not responsible for any issues regarding the climate a wood vent is used in or how it is cleaned. Liquids and high moisture environments are not recommended to come into contact with wood vents and are likely to damage the wood. COMPLETE SETS Zoroufy products are sold in complete sets. Each stair rod set includes one rod, one pair of brackets, and one pair of finials. If a customer is in need of a single part such as a bracket or finial, they must have placed a previous original order with Zoroufy. Without an original order to reference, there will be a 25% surcharge in addition to the price of the item being purchased. This applies to every collection except the Dynasty, Stair Jewel, and Grand Dynasty Collections. These three collections are sold only as complete sets. Individual pieces will not be sold from these collections. CUSTOM CUTTING Zoroufy offers custom rod cutting as a courtesy to our customers at no additional charge. All orders that require custom cutting will not be processed until an order confirmation is received via fax or confirming the accuracy of the order.
