6 Filament Tape Filament tapes consist of a hot melt adhesive coated onto a multi-layered polypropylene backing with embedded fiberglass filaments to add high tensile strength. A variety of grades of filament tape are available for light, medium and heavy-duty packaging and reinforcement applications. 4
