12 CORE MECHANICS An arcade shoot- em-up zombie blast-fest with depth, breadth and strategy elements Control a squad of up to eight survivors, back to back, rotating & shooting outwards Build the squad, arm them and obliterate zombies while completing objectives and missions Equip wisely as big weapons take up more space and can leave some survivors under prepared! Do you take 6 pistols or 2 bazookas? Choose your favourite survivors and use their abilities. Increase movement speed, fire damage and health boosts will help Easy to grasp yet hard to master

13 SURVIVORS Survivors were ordinary people yesterday. Today, the world has gone and they ve taken up arms to fight for survival! Managing the squad Survivors carry weapons which cost points to equip, up to a maximum allowance for the squad. Surviving the Hordes Survivors can be hurt! If they are seriously wounded, they will be out of action for a while. Cops, cooks, cleaners and teachers. Burger chefs, bus drivers, bodyguards and vigilantes. Grandmas, grocers, goths and accountants! They have each other s backs and they ll keep firing while the zombies keep coming. More powerful weapons cost more points to equip. New survivors offer buffs and affect the points available to equip weapons. Levels have different enemies and layouts. Players must approach these challenges with unique squads and strategies. Exploring the synergies between squad members, survivor traits and weapons is crucial. This promotes exploration and experimentation and brings re-playability with a deeper gameplay experience. The RPG-like character abilities demand investment from the player to reap the best rewards and discover all the secrets of the game.

14 WEAPONS Weapons can be purchased from an in-game weapon store. Combined with the right survivors, weapons are one of the most important factors in the game. Weapons have a massive impact on play style and squad setup, as the order the weapons are equipped changes the order in which they are arranged in the player s squad. Players choose to cluster their heavy weapons together or pad them out. Players discover new weapons as loot within the game. Weapons can be upgraded sing soft currency and exclusive and limited edition weapons can be purchased for hard currency. Some weapons have a level requirement. Players must level up to equip the most powerful weapons. Weapon combinations play a big part of the tactics when choosing which to take into a level. A water weapon followed by an electric weapon will be a powerful combination while a fire weapon followed by a water weapon could counteract their effects. Sharing Weapons Hire a weapon from a friend or select the daily weapon from the black market at a cost. When weapons are hired out players earn money from their friends! This adds a social element to the game and lets players explore weapons they have not unlocked in their own game, helping them to progress through the levels.
