Airtel achieved a Speed Score of 8.99 with average speeds of Mbps for download and 3.66 Mbps for upload on LTE-capable devices. Speedtest Intelligence data is comprised of millions of consumer-initiated tests performed on web and mobile Speedtest platforms. All providers in India are represented in Speedtest Intelligence data, with significant volumes of tests nationwide. We can confirm that Speedtest Intelligence data supports the award for India s Fastest Mobile Network. Because the vast majority of data transfer over broadband and mobile internet involves downloading, 90% of the final Speed Score is attributed to download speed and the remaining 10% to upload speed.
