3 STORY Just another day on the farm, or is it? The Farmer needs to leave the farm for a while but accidentally leaves the gate open. Before Shaun and Bitzer realize it, the Sheep have all gone missing! Now it s up to Shaun to find all fifteen Sheep before the Farmer gets home. THE CHARACTERS Shaun Shaun is the hero of our story. He is responsible for finding the missing Sheep. The Farmer The Farmer is in charge of the farm and will be very angry if his Sheep are all missing when he gets home. Bitzer Bitzer is the Farmer s loyal companion. Shirley Shirley is the large Sheep on the farm and is known for her incredible appetite. Timmy Timmy is the youngest of the Sheep. He loves the Circus Tent and his Stuffed Animal. The Sheep The Sheep of the farm are always getting into trouble but will help Shaun whenever he needs it. Page 3

4 Naughty Pigs The Naughty Pigs are out to get Shaun. They try to stop his progress whenever they can. Pidsley Pidsley is the Farmer s house cat. Hen The Hen has lost her chicks. Shaun must help find them for her. MAP Page 4

5 MISSIONS Mission 1 After the opening cutscene, Shaun will start in Ranch 1. From here, you will need to go through the gate on the right hand side of the area to move to Field A. From Field A, you will need to go through the open gate on the right to move to the Barn. Following the tutorials that happen when you enter the Barn, you will need to touch the stylus icon over the door leaning against the wall on the right side of the area to find the first Sheep. Mission 2 Shaun will start in the Barn at the beginning of Mission 2. From here, you will need to move towards the bottom middle of the area to go to Field A. Once in Field A, you will hear a chick chirping and the camera will zoom in on the bush on the left side. Touch the stylus icon over the bush to find your first chick. Go through the open gate on the left to head to the Hen House. Touch the stylus icon over the Hen to give the chick to her, and interact with the Sheep that falls out of the tree to find the second Sheep. Mission 3 Shaun will start in the Hen House at the start of Mission 3. From the Hen House, you will need to move to the far right side of the area to go to Field A. Next, move towards the bottom middle of the area to go to Ranch 1. From here you will need to head towards the bottom middle of the area to get to Ranch 2. Move towards the right side of the area to interact with the Mole. Once the Mole has returned to its hole, touch the stylus icon over the hole to make Shaun think of the Tennis Racket. From Ranch 2, you will need to go back to the Barn. Once in the barn, follow the prompts and touch the Sheep Action icon when it begins flashing. Select the Sheep Ladder Sheep Action to pick up the Tennis Racket. Once you have the Tennis Racket, it is time to return to Ranch 2 to get that key back from the Mole. On the way to Ranch 2, you will need to touch the stylus icon over the rightmost bush in Field A to find the third Sheep. In Ranch 2, touch the stylus icon above the Mole hole to initiate the Tap-a-Mole minigame. In order to progress past the Tap-a-Mole mini-game, you will need to get a score of at least 15 Moles. There are two ways to go about this. The first way is by blowing into the microphone to make the Moles pop out of the holes. Then you will need to tap them while in the air. Another way to get the Moles to pop out of the holes is by repeatedly pressing the +Control Pad. You can press any direction to get this to work, but keep in mind that the number of Moles that pop out is far less than when using the microphone. After completing the minigame with a score of at least 15 Moles, Shaun will obtain Key 1. Once you have Key 1, you will need to use it on the gate on the right side of the area. Touch the stylus icon over the right gate to initiate the Key to Success! microgame. In this microgame, you will simply need to use the key that matches the lock. Key 1 is the gold, diamond-shaped key. Use the stylus to move the key into the lock. Once you go through the gate to Field D, this Mission will be over. Page 5

6 Mission 4 Shaun will automatically start in Field D at the start of Mission 4. Watch the cutscene that occurs. Move to the right side and touch the stylus icon over the Sheep to find the fourth Sheep. Mission 5 Shaun will be in Field D at the start of Mission 5. From here, you will need to move through the opening in the top part of the area to get to Field E. Move to the left until you see the open fence on the top part of the area, and go there to head into the Circus Tent. Move Shaun to the left to see the cutscene there. Touch the stylus icon on the Trampoline to begin the Wooly Jumper microgame. There are two ways to move the Sheep holding the Trampoline in this game. You can either use the stylus or the +Control Pad. In order to complete the microgame, you must catch Timmy who is walking on the high wire on the top screen. Move the Sheep holding the Trampoline so that Shaun lands on the Trampoline in order to make him jump higher. Once Shaun has caught Timmy, the microgame is over. Following the microgame, you need to touch the stylus icon over Timmy to make Shaun think of the Stuffed Animal. From here, you will need to go all the way back to the Barn. Once in the Barn, touch the stylus icon over the Stuffed Animal to obtain it. Now you will have to take the Stuffed Animal back to Timmy in the Circus Tent. Once in the circus tent, touch the stylus icon over Timmy to give him the Stuffed Animal and find the fifth sheep. Mission 6 Shaun will automatically start in the Circus Tent at the start of Mission 6. From here, you will need to go to Field A. When you leave the Circus Tent you will see the first farmer cutscene. Upon entering Field A, watch the cutscene and move to the right side of the area. Touch the flashing Sheep Action icon and scroll through the Sheep Actions until you find the Timmy Sheep Action. Select the Timmy Sheep Action to start the Go Timmy! microgame. In order to complete this microgame, you will need to guide Timmy through the bushes to find Key 2 while avoiding the animals. The order of the enemies that appear is random, but you can clear them all the same way. Any time an animal gets in Timmy s way, simply tap them multiple times with the stylus to make them run away. Pidsley the cat takes five hits, the Mole takes four hits, and the ducks take three hits each. In this microgame, you will also encounter bushes that Timmy cannot get past on his own. Move the stylus icon back and forth on these bushes to move them out of Timmy s way. After completing the microgame, Shaun will obtain Key 2 and will think of a chest. The chest that this key unlocks is located in Field E. Once in Field E, move Shaun all the way to the left side of the area and touch the stylus icon over the chest to begin the Key to Success! Microgame. Page 6

7 To complete this microgame, you will need to match the correct key to the lock. Key 2 is the silver, ovalshaped key. Use the stylus to move the key into the lock. Once the chest is open, a Sheep will jump out. Watch the events to find the sixth Sheep. Mission 7 Shaun will automatically start in Field E at the start of Mission 7. From here, you will need to go back to Ranch 2. Upon entering Ranch 2, watch the mini cutscene, and then move through the left gate to head into the Scrap Yard. Move to the middle of the area and touch the stylus icon over the Guitar to go to the Flock n Roll minigame. In order to pass this minigame, you will need to get a score of at least 50. In order to score points in this minigame, you will need to let all of the black notes pass through the left side of the screen. When you see a gold note, stop it from going off the left side of the screen. Use the stylus to flick the gold notes off of the screen. This is a timed minigame, and will end after 90 seconds. As long as you keep the gold notes off of the screen, you should have no problem passing it. After the minigame, watch the mini cutscene, and you will automatically find the seventh Sheep. Mission 8 Shaun will be in the Scrap Yard at the start of Mission 8. From here, you will need to go to Ranch 1. Upon entering Ranch 1, watch the mini cutscene and move through the left gate to go to Field F. Here, you will need to move to the right side of the area. Once you reach the Naughty Pig, make sure to stay away from him. He will chase you, so just avoid him until the Bitzer icon begins to flash. Touch the Bitzer icon while it's flashing, and watch the mini cutscene. After the Naughty Pig leaves you alone, move to the right side of the area and touch the stylus icon over the Bone to obtain it. Next, you will need to go to Field H by moving through the gate at the top part of Ranch 1. Once in Field H, move in front of Bitzer and touch the flashing Sheep Action icon. Select the Bone Sheep Action and watch the mini cutscene. Take your newly acquired key, and touch the stylus icon over the gate in front of the House to initiate the Key to Success! microgame. To complete this microgame, you will need to match the correct key to the lock. Key 3 is the green, clover shaped key. Use the stylus to move the key into the lock. After completing the microgame, move through the gate to head into the House. Move through the right door to get in the Kitchen. Touch the stylus icon over Shirley to make Shaun think of the Apple. When you try to leave the House, you will encounter Pidsley the cat. He will not let you leave, so in order to get past him, you will need to touch the flashing Sheep Action icon to initiate the Fleece Keeper microgame. The icon for the Fleece Keeper microgame is the ball of wool. In order to complete this microgame, you simply need to spin the stylus in a clockwise circle around the ball of wool. Once the ball is big enough, the game will end. After the microgame, watch the mini cutscene and move through the door at the top part of the area to return to Field H. Page 7

8 Now you must go to the Pig Hut by moving through the open gate at the top part of Field F. Remember that any time you enter Field F, the Naughty Pig will be back, so try not to go to the right side of the area. However, if you do encounter the Naughty Pig, just avoid him until the Bitzer icon flashes. Touch the Bitzer icon to get rid of the Naughty Pig. Now, once you are in the Pig Hut, touch the stylus icon over the trough to get the Apple. From here, you will have to return to the House Kitchen. Once in the Kitchen, touch the stylus icon over Shirley and watch the mini cutscene to find the eighth Sheep. Mission 9 Shaun will be in the Kitchen at the start of Mission 9. In this Mission, you simply need to touch the stylus icon over the cabinet in the upper right corner to find the ninth Sheep. Mission 10 Shaun will still be in the Kitchen at the start of Mission 10. From here, you will need to go through the left door in the Kitchen to the Entrance. Next, you will have to go through the left door here to get to the Living Room. Once in the Living Room, touch the stylus icon over the fireplace to find the tenth Sheep. Mission 11 Shaun will be placed in the Living Room at the start of Mission 11. From here, you will need to go to Field D. Go through the right door to go to the Entrance. Once again, when you try to leave the House, Pidsley will block your way causing you to play the Fleece Keeper microgame. After you leave the House, watch the cutscene, and Bitzer will give you the Umbrella. Now you must go to Field D. Upon entering Field D, watch the mini cutscene. Touch the flashing Sheep Action icon, and select the Jumping Sheep Action. You will now be in Big Tree. Move to the left of the area to make Shaun think of the Surfboard and the Barrel. Move to the right side of the area to go back to Field D. From here, you will need to go to the Scrap Yard. Upon entering the Scrap Yard, the camera will zoom in on the Surfboard. Touch the stylus icon over the Surfboard to obtain it. From the Scrap Yard, you will need to go to Field H. Upon entering Field H, the camera will zoom in on the Barrel. Touch the stylus icon over the Barrel to obtain it. Now you will need to return to Big Tree. Now every time you need to go to Big Tree from Field D, you will need to select the Jumping Sheep Action. Once in Big Tree, move toward the left and watch the mini cutscene. Touch the flashing Sheep Action icon and select the Catapult Sheep Action. Watch the mini cutscene, and it will initiate the Floating Fleece minigame. In order to complete this minigame, you will have to keep Shaun in the air for a distance of at least Rub Shaun with the stylus to keep him in the air. There are a few different enemies in this minigame to look out for. If you get hit by an enemy, you will lose a life. In this minigame, Shaun only has three lives. Tap the ducks once to make them fly away, tap the kites three times to make them fly away, and tap the black storm clouds five times to make them go away. Just keep Shaun in the air and keep the enemies from touching Shaun to complete this minigame. Page 8

9 After completing the minigame, Shaun will fall into the Pig Hut. From here, you will need to go back to Big Tree. Once there, you will see the Sheep on the side of the Tree. Touch the stylus icon over the Sheep to find the eleventh Sheep. Mission 12 Shaun will automatically start in Big Tree at the start of Mission 12. From here, you will need to go to Field H. Once in Field H, move in front of Bitzer to make him give you Key 4. Move to the left side of the area, and touch the stylus icon over the gate to initiate the Key to Success! Microgame. To complete this microgame, you will need to match the correct key to the lock. Key 4 is the red, triangle shaped key. Use the stylus to move the key into the lock. After completing the microgame, move Shaun through the gate to go to Field G. Move toward the pool to make Shaun think of the Brush. From here, you will need to go back to the Pig Hut. Once in the Pig Hut, move to the left side. Touch the stylus icon over the right bush on the left side of the area to obtain the Brush. Now you will need to go back to Field G. Upon entering Field G, move toward the pool to initiate the Baaath Time! minigame. In order to pass this minigame, you will need to clean 9 Sheep. To do this, simply drag the stylus back and forth over a Sheep until it is completely covered in suds. You will know it is completely covered by the chime sound effect that plays, and when the Sheep jumps. Once the Sheep is covered in suds, blow in to the microphone to blow away the suds. Just repeat this process until all nine Sheep have been cleaned and you will easily pass the minigame. After completing the minigame, watch the mini cutscene to find Sheep twelve. Mission 13 Shaun will automatically start in Field G at the start of Mission 13. From here, you will need to follow the goat. Move to the left side of the area to go to Field F. Watch the mini cutscene, and Shaun will automatically go to Field D. Now follow the goat all the way to Ranch 1, and watch the mini cutscene. Next, follow the goat to Field A by moving through the gate on the right side of the area. Upon entering Field A, watch the mini cutscene and follow the goat into the Barn. Upon entering the Barn, watch the mini cutscene and then touch the stylus icon over the key on the ground to obtain Key 5. Now go to the door on the top side of the Barn, and touch the stylus icon over it to initiate the Key to Success! microgame. To complete this microgame, you will need to match the correct key to the lock. Key 5 is the blue, crescent shaped key. Use the stylus to move the key into the lock. Page 9

10 After completing the microgame, move through the door to go to the Shearing Shed. Move to the left side of the area and touch the stylus icon over the Shearer on the counter. Watch the mini cutscene and the chase is on. Go back to Field A and Bitzer will point you in the direction that the Sheep went. From here go to Field D and watch the mini cutscene to find the thirteenth Sheep. Mission 14 Shaun will automatically start in Field D at the start of Mission 14. From here, you will need to go back to the Shearing Shed. Once in the Shearing Shed, move to the top side of the area and touch the stylus icon over the white ball to find the fourteenth Sheep. Mission 15 Shaun will automatically start in the Shearing Shed at the start of Mission 15. From here, you will need to go to Big Tree. Move to the far left side of the Big Tree and try to get past the Naughty Pigs to make Shaun to think of the Door, Red Barrel, Box, and Wood Pallet. Now you will need to go to the Scrap Yard. Upon entering the Scrap Yard, the camera will zoom in on the Door. Touch the stylus icon over the Door to obtain it. Now you will have to go to the Shearing Shed. Upon entering the Shearing Shed, the camera will zoom in on the Box. Touch the stylus icon over the Box to obtain it. Next, you will need to go to the Hen House. Upon entering the Hen House, the camera will zoom in on the Red Barrel. Touch the stylus icon over the Red Barrel to obtain it. Finally, you will need to go to the Pig Hut. Upon entering the Pig Hut, the camera will zoom in on the Wood Pallet. Touch the stylus icon over the Wood Pallet to obtain it. Now that you have all of the pieces, it is time to go back to Big Tree. Move to the far left side again and watch the mini cutscene. Touch the flashing Sheep Action icon and select the Rolling Sheep Action. Move through the left side of the screen to go to Field C. Move to the far left side and watch the mini cutscene to find the fifteenth and final Sheep, but it's not over yet. Watch the mini cutscene to find that Timmy has gone missing. From here, you will need to go to the Circus Tent. Upon entering the Circus Tent, watch the mini cutscene to initiate the Cannon Baaa! Minigame. In order to complete this minigame, you will have to get a score of at least 15 Sheep. To do this, simply make a line from the Sheep to a forward facing cannon to launch them through the air. There are also Naughty Pigs and Ducks in this minigame, but launching them through the cannon will not give you any points. Just keep launching the Sheep through the cannon and you should beat this minigame with no problem. After completing the mingame, sit back and watch the final cutscene. Page 10

16 Wood Pallet Mission 15 Pig Hut Used for Rolling Sheep Action MINIGAME MODE Tap-a-Mole In order to successfully complete this minigame, you will need to finish with a score of at least 15 Moles. There are two ways to go about this. The first way is by blowing into the microphone to make the Moles pop out of the holes. Then you will need to tap them while in the air. Another way to get the Moles to pop out of the holes is by repeatedly pressing the +Control Pad. You can press any direction to get this to work, but keep in mind that the number of Moles that pop out is far less than when using the microphone. The time limit in the Minigame Mode version is much longer than in Story Mode. Floating Fleece In order to successfully complete this minigame, you will have to keep Shaun in the air for a distance of at least Rub Shaun with the stylus to keep him in the air. Flock n Roll In order to successfully complete this minigame, you will need to obtain a score of at least 50. Keep in mind that the score does not appear during the minigame, so you will not know what your score is until the end of the minigame. In order to score points in this minigame, you will need to let all of the black notes pass through the left side of the screen. When you see a gold note, stop it from going off the left side of the screen by using the stylus to flick the gold notes off of the screen. As long as you keep the gold notes off of the screen, you should have no problem passing it. There is no time limit for this game in Minigame Mode, and you can only fail by letting too many gold notes pass through the left side. Cannon Baaa In order to successfully complete this minigame, you will have to get a score of at least 15 Sheep. To do this, simply make a line from the Sheep to a forward facing cannon to launch them through the air. There are also Naughty Pigs and Ducks in this minigame, but launching them through the cannon will not give you any points. Just keep launching the Sheep through the cannon and you should beat this minigame with no problem. The time limit in the Minigame Mode version is much longer than in Story Mode. Page 17

18 Shear Madness How many Sheep can you catch? In this minigame, you must keep the Sheep from getting past Bitzer. This can be done two ways. You can use the stylus to move Bitzer back and forth and tap him to make him blow his whistle. The sound wave from the whistle is what scares the Sheep away. Another way to do this is by using the +Control Pad to move Bitzer and to press the A Button to blow the whistle. Also, whenever you see Shirley you have to hit her with multiple sound waves to catch her. There is no time limit for this game, and will only end once a Sheep gets past Bitzer. All Ewe Can Eat! In order to successfully complete this minigame, you will need to pass all four mazes. This can be done two ways. Once again, you can use the stylus to guide Shirley through the maze or you can use the +Control Pad to guide her through the maze. In the first maze there is only one Naughty Pig to look out for. If you get caught by a Naughty Pig you will lose one life and be reset at the start of the maze. In the second maze there are two Naughty Pigs, and in the third maze there are three Naughty Pigs. In the fourth and final maze you not only have look out for three Naughty Pigs, but you also have to watch out for Bitzer. Bitzer is much faster and smarter than the Naughty Pigs. Just avoid all of the enemies and you should be able to complete the minigame with a high score. Bend it Like Shaun! In order to successfully complete this minigame, you must get a score of at least 3 goals. In this minigame, you can move Shaun with the stylus or the +Control Pad and you can kick the ball of cabbage by tapping it with the +Control Pad or by pressing the A Button. While the cabbage is in the air, you have to use the stylus to change its flight path. You do this by spinning the stylus on the side of the ball in the direction you want it to go. For example, if you spin the stylus on the right side of the cabbage, it will curve toward the right side. Just do this a few times and you will beat the Naughty Pig. Page 18

19 FAQ 1. Q. What do I do when the Naughty Pig is chasing me? A. After the Naughty Pig has chased you for a few seconds, you must tap the flashing Bitzer icon located in the upper left corner of the screen. 2. Q. Where do I go after finding Timmy? A. You have to go to Field A to start the next part of the game. 3. Q. Where do I go after completing the Floating Fleece minigame? A. You must go back to Big Tree to find the Sheep that was knocked out of the tree before the minigame started. PRO TIPS The game autosaves whenever you collect an item or Sheep. During Flock n Roll, you do not have to drag the notes very far to get them off the screen. Using the +Control Pad works better when running away from the Naughty Pigs. During the Wooly Jumper microgame, it is easier to move using the +Control Pad. During Shear Madness, repeatedly blowing the whistle will help keep the Sheep farther away from Bitzer. During Baaath Time! use short quick strokes to clean the Sheep faster. Search everything! You never know where a chick might be. GOOD LUCK! Page 19
