Do # 11 Tile Message Board Supplies Needed: 6x6 tiles (or larger!), felt scraps, embellishments (feather, copies of the Be you, Bravely logo, ribbon, stickers, scrapbook paper), Mod Podge, 1 dry erase marker per person. 1. Glue felt squares to each corner on the back of the tile (this protects furniture you might lay the tile on when using it) 2. Using embellishments, decorate the tile. Leave the middle of the tile un-embellished for writing messages. Select your stencil (either letters or graphics will do!) If you use scrapbook paper, follow the directions on the Mod Podge container. 3. Use Sharpies for decorating portions you do NOT want to erase. 4. Supply dry erase markers to write a message a reminder to yourself or a message to your family. OPTION: Make a Corkboard message center same instructions but use a piece of cork rather than a tile! These don t require dry erase markers, but have some fun tacks for each attendee.

Do # 12 Clay Magnet Supplies Needed: Modeling clay, paint or markers, items to press into clay (feathers, leaves, flowers), magnets, glue. OPTIONAL: cookie cutters 1. Model the clay into the shape you d like (or use cookie cutters). Make sure the back is flat and the magnet is not too bulky or heavy for your magnet. 2. Depending on the type of clay, let the shape dry thoroughly or bake the clay according to the manufacturer's directions. 3. Paint or decorate the clay and allow to dry completely. (Use paint or markers.) 4. Attach magnet to the back using strong glue or hot glue. Another option: 1. Model the clay into the flat ovals. Make sure the back is flat and the magnet is not too bulky or heavy for your magnet. 2. Before the clay dries, press leaves, feathers or flowers into the clay and then remove them leaving the outline of the item in the clay. 3. Depending on the type of clay, let the shape dry thoroughly or bake the clay according to the manufacturer's directions. 4. If desired, paint or decorate the clay and allow to dry completely. (Use paint or markers.) 5. Attach magnet to the back using strong glue or hot glue.

Do # 13 DIY Calendar Supplies: picture frame with glass, dry erase markers, a variety of sizes and shapes of post-it notes, markers (thin markets work best!) 1. Start with a blank piece of paper the size of your frame. 2. Decide on your color theme. Write days of the week on small post-its. Write numbers in the corner of small square post-its, one for each day. 3. Lay the post it notes out on the white paper according to the current month. 4. When done, place the paper with the post-it notes in the frame. 5. Using dry-erase markers, write the current month at the top. 6. Throughout the month, use dry-erase markers to write appointments. OPTIONS: Image 1 is made with post-it notes, per directions Image 2 is made with paint chips. Many stores will give you their outdated chips. Image 3 is a weekly calendar option. Same idea using smaller frames and scrapbook paper. Image 1. Image 2. Image 3.

Do # 14 Wire-Wrapped Pendants Supplies: 3 ½ or 4 feet of 22 GA round dead-soft wire 3 pearls or glass beads (6 or 8 mm) Jump ring (optional) Chain Wire cutters Ruler Round nose pliers Needle nose pliers 1. Measure the 22 gauge wire with the ruler. The wire can be longer but it shouldn t be shorter. 2. String on three of the beads/pearls. Slide the first bead 3 inches from the end of the wire. 3. Bend the three beads in a triangle and twist the wire closed to secure. 4. Crumple the wire a little. You want it to look a little messy. Do leave 6 inches at the end of the wire neat. After crumpling it, straighten it back out. It will have kinks and bends in it. 5. Circle the wire five times around the beads it doesn t really have to be a perfect circle. 6. Secure the first part of the nest by taking the end of the wire and passing it through where you have your three beads joined. Repeat the same step at each joint. 7. Secure the nest at each joint twice to make sure it will hold. 8. Make three more circles around the beads and secure that in place too. 9. Wrap some wire at the back of the beads to give the necklace a back. 10. Loop the wire through areas you think need a little bit of wire (where you see empty spaces). 11. When there is only 3-4 inches of wire left, bring the wire to the top of the nest. 12. Take the two wires and twist them together to make a basic wire loop at the top using roundnose pliers. (You can use a jump ring instead, if you d rather.) 13. Take a chain and string the pendant into it. Check online (Pinterest or search for bird nest or wire-wrapped pendants) to find picture tutorials.

Do # 15 Decorative Tray Supplies Needed: 1 frame with glass per attendee, fabric or scrapbook paper. 1. If the frame has an easel back, remove the easel so the frame will sit on the table evenly. 2. Using the back of the frame as a template, but the paper or fabric to fully cover the back. OPTION: Start with plain paper and provide markers or paint for each attendee to decorate their paper with their last name, initials, phrase or verse. Be sure it is completely dry before putting behind the glass. 3. Glue in place, smoothing the paper or fabric so there are no wrinkles. 4. Put the back of the frame in place. Lay the frame flat to use as a tray for decorating or to use as a catch-all for keys or change.

Do # 16 Burlap Wreath Supplies Needed: 12-inch wire wreath form (use any size, but measurements below are for a 12-inch form) 4 inch burlap garland. One roll of burlap garland. NOTE: You can use burlap fabric cut into 4-inch strips. It is cheaper but the edges are loose and doesn t hold its shape as well. The finished edges on the garland hold their shape well. embellishments- optional 1. Start with a wire wreath base. Begin by looping burlap through the wire form. Loop the burlap through the top, middle and outer rims. This will hold the end in place. 2. Make a small loop and come up through the the bottom of the wire wreath. 3. Lift the loop. Fluff it out to the size you want the wreath to be. This is generally a 2-3 inch (5-7.5cm) high loop. 4. Pull the next loop through the next slat over. Repeat back and forth until you completely hide the wire frame. Make sure your loops are the same size around your form or your wreath will not look even. 5. Slide the loops firmly together. This will make space on the frame for more loops and "puff out" the wreath some more. 6. Adjust the loops to make your wreath look even. 7. Decorate the wreath with seasonal colors and floral sprays. You can reuse the base many times as long as you avoid gluing anything to it. Instead, use decorations you can wrap around or wire to the frame so that you can easily replace them from season to season

Do # 17 Scrapbook in a Tin Supplies Needed: Empty tin container (Altoid mints come in these! You can buy already empty ones in craft stores) Scrapbook paper TIP: Double sided scrapbook paper gives you coordinating options! Solid cardstock Glue Ribbon or other embellishments 1. If you are using a container that has previously held mints (or anything else), be sure and wash and dry it well. 2. Place the empty tin on the back of your scrapbook paper and cut out the shape of the tin. 3. Glue the scrapbook paper to the front of the tin. 4. Cut two more pieces of scrapbook paper slightly smaller than the outside piece and glue them to the inside of the tin, one on top and one on the bottom. 5. Embellish the front of the tin with ribbon or other embellishments. Embellish the inside of the lid, too, if you d like! 6. Cut a piece of solid cardstock to 12 inches by 3.5 inches. 7. Score the cardstock every 2 inches and fold accordion style. 8. Use decorated scrapbook paper to decorate the cardstock. Add pictures (or have attendees add them at home. 9. Fold the cardstock and put it in the tin.

Do # 18 Pinterest Party Have attendees bring a completed recipe they found on Pinterest plus copies of the written recipe to share. Select a few crafts from Pinterest and provide the supplies to create them. OPTION: Have moms submit craft ideas from Pinterest a few meetings prior to your Pinterest Party then let the attendees vote on the crafts they want to make.

Do # 19 Chore Chart There are dozens of Chore Chart options available online some are pre-printed, some make-ityourself. Do a quick search and find one that fits your group s time and budget.

Do # 20 Special Day Plate Supplies: Dollar Store Plate Pencil Carbon Paper or Graphite Paper Ceramic, Glass or Porcelain Pens: Create your design that you will trace (print out words and patterns ahead of time) OR crafters can freehand a design Scissors Tape Nail Polish Remover Oven 1. Start by creating a design or printing out words to trace. Once you print out your words/design you want to cut them out, but leave a little white on the outside of the words. 2. Cut a piece of carbon or graphite paper a little larger than your design. Put the carbon paper in the center of the plate (or wherever you want the design) and place your design on top. Tape to the plate so it doesn t shift. 3. Now that your words/design are taped onto the plate, start tracing the letters with your pencil. Make sure you put enough pressure to ensure transfer. 4. OPTION: Skip the design and graphite paper and just freehand with the special markers. 5. Fill in the design with the marker. TIP: Push some of the paint out onto a piece of paper and used a small paint brush for fine lines. Make a mistake? Take some nail polish remover and remove it. 6. Now that your pretty design is done, bake them according to the directions on your pens. Once baked they are dishwasher safe.

Do # 21 Service Project Do some research and set up a service project in your community. Check with women s shelters, crisis pregnancy centers, and food pantries. Another option is to combine with a MOPPETS field trip and go visit your local firefighters. Be sure and take some cookies. These are just a few ideas to get you started!
