His favorite character in Star Wars is Han Solo. His favorite sport is hockey. He roots for the L.A. Kings. His favorite singer is Michael Jackson, but his favorite type of music is rock. If he could change anything in Star Wars he wouldn t. If he were to be one of the roles in the movie, he would like to be the actor who plays Luke Star Wars Skywalker because he likes the idea of being a Jedi. On May 4 th, the Hoover 4 th and 5 th graders went to the Egyptian theater and saw Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. This movie is about Luke Skywalker and his group of rebels fighting Darth Vader and the Emperor. Luke has to face his father and actually cut off the hand of his father. The Emperor tries to destroy Luke by shocking him with a lot of electricity, but when Luke pleads to Darth Vader, his father, for help, Darth Vader overthrows the Emperor and saved Luke. by Yahir E. 1

3 The Best Scene in the Movie The best scene in Return of the Jedi is when the Ewoks think C-3P0 (the gold robot) is a god. This is the best scene because in this scene the Ewocks tie the robot s friends (Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chubacca, and R2-D2) to logs and try to cook them, but the robot stops the Ewoks. The robot stops the Ewoks from cooking his friends by threatening to punish them if they didn t untie his friends. The scene ends with the Ewoks freeing the robot s friends. by Alfredo S. He became obsessed with Star Wars at the age of 8. Martin likes the Ewoks in the film. He likes the Ewoks because he thinks the alien bears are cute. Favorite Part of the Movie A cool part of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is when Yoda tells Luke Skywalker that Darth Vader truly is his father. Luke doesn t know that Darth Vader is his father because Obi- Wan Kenobi had told him that Darth Vader had betrayed and killed Luke s father. This is why Luke is shocked and doesn t believe Darth Vader when Darth Vader tells him that he is his father. by Anthony M. 5 The Great Movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is very good. The movie is fun to watch. The movie is also sometimes sad. The reporters really enjoyed having the chance to watch the Star Wars Story Star Wars:Return of the Jedi is about Luke Skywalker having to fight many enemies and having to defeat the Dark Side. The movie is so good, that when the rebels won, everyone in Vader is indeed his father. Luke doesn t want to kill his father. The reporters also met Geoff Boucher, who is an editor for Entertainment Weekly. He has met many famous people. He told the reporters that with his job, everything is the theatre clapped. Also in the movie, the rebels make a plan to stop the Emperor. In the end the rebels destroys the Death Star. Many people will like watching this month 5

6 A Star Wars Movie Review The Star Wars movie is good except for some of the graphics. Besides that, the characters, settings, and the plot of the movie are amazing. Star Wars has been around for 30 years. During the movie when the rebels would do something cool, everyone in the theater would clap. A good part in the movie is when Princess Leia kills Jabba the Hutt in the desert scene. Many people in the theatre enjoyed the movie. by Luis M. 8 A Trip to the Movies The reporters from Hoover went on a trip to watch a movie. The movie was Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The main character in this movie is Luke Skywalker. The movie is about Luke trying to defeat the Emperor. He goes on a journey with his friends to defeat the Emperor. The rebels make a plan to defeat the new Death Star. Luke learns that his father is the evil Darth Vader and his sister is Princess Leia. Luke meets his father and tries to make his father good. He thinks he fails, but when the Emperor is about to kill Luke, Darth Vader saves his son. Vader kills the Emperor, and then Darth Vader dies.
