As the most professional robotics exhibition in China sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and China Robot Industry Alliance (CRIA), CIROS has been generally regarded as one of the three biggest robot exhibitions of the world covering artichlated robots, general robot, robotics integration solution, Machine Visionservice robot and industry robot components, which is the only exhibition supported by International Federation of Robotics (IFR) in China.CIROS 2016 occupied 38,000 sqm exhibition area and attracted 320 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions such as Germany, America, Japan, France, Korea, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong, etc. 28 concurrent activities and 56,775 visitors.

11 Concurrent Activities China International Summit of Robotics Industry Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and co-sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and China robot industry alliance (CRIA), the "2016 China International Summit of Robotics Industry & CIROS Golden Finger Award" was successfully held in Shanghai on July 6. This year the summit promote robot integrations and applications with the theme of "Future depend on intelligenceintelligence.quality.efficiency and with topics of "Made in China 2025andhow to enhance a worldwide cooperation of robotics industry. It has become a significant meeting in recent years. Mr.Qu Daokui, president of China Robot Industry Alliance (CRIA), moderated meeting and Mr. Wang Ruixiang, president of China Machinery Industry Alliance (CRIA), Mr. Joe Gemma, President of IFR made an welcome address. 15 Concurrent Activities The 15Th National Undergraduate Robot Competition - Robotac Co-sponsored by Communist Youth League Central Committee and the National Association, the 15th national undergraduate robot competition Robotac was successfully held in NECC (Shanghai) Hall NH on July 6-9, The development guideline of Robotac is college competition, Personnel training, Creativity and Innovation, Innovation incubating, CIROS committee and Robotac committee jointly invited nearly 40 university teams and 500 teachers and students attend this competition. The competition rule is Idea first, Free design, the exciting scene of the robot competition was a very colorful feast for the eyes. The cooperation between CIROS and Robotac not only promote the university teachers and students take a close encounter with the industrial technology and products, but also accelerated the market promotion of incubator companies. Promoting the cooperation among schools, enterprises and market is an important step for China International Robot Show to promote the development of China robot industry professionals. CIROS and Robotac will have normalized cooperation in the future and promote the international cooperation in an orderly way.

It has been generally viewed as a meeting at world level of robot's academic research, application promotion and international exchange.
