1 Graphical Robot Programming Teachbox for Robot W 711 The Wittmann CNC 6.2 robot control with color graphics screens allows simpler robot teaching and use than ever before. The operator simply traces out sequences on the screen and adjusts additional functions in an easy-to-use graphical environment to create step by step the final robot program. CNC 6.2 Easy-To-Use Graphic Interface The W 711 robots are equipped with the same control used on all larger WITTMANN Servo Robots. Therefore the W 711 robots provide the same programming comfort and advantages as all other WITTMANN robots. Touch Screen Control R7 Cutting Edge Control Technology As an option the robot W 711 can be supplied with the R7 Touch Screen Pendant. This pendant can be simply plugged into the sub-pendant the same as for CNC 6.2. By directly selecting the function on the R7 Touch-Screen, the comfort and speed of programming is increased. The same program structure as CNC 6.2 is used to reduce training time for operators. Detachable Sub-pendant prevents program changes for increased safety and security. 4 Innovative Robot Design Without separate control cabinet: Similar to the very successful WITTMANN COMPACT robot series, the new 7-Robot Series do not require separate control cabinets. The Servo modules for the drives are placed next to the Servo motors, thus providing enormous advantages: - Short motor and encoder cables. - Less cables and connection to fail. - Highest reliability of robot operation. - Compact design, ideal for smaller injection molding machines. Vertical arm (Y-axis): W 710: pneumatically driven W 711: servo motor driven Kick stroke (X-stroke) Rugged, specially reinforced aluminum extrusion, directly attached to the main carriage. The vertical arm is guided by high load linear bearings for minimum vibration and high speed operation, allowing precise insertion and removal. Horizontal main stroke (Z-stroke): Driven via belt. Motor directly mounted on main carriage. - Shortest possible belt for higher acceleration and deceleration. - Low noise operation. Rugged steel beam is precision machined for perfect alignment of rails and rack. High capacity linear bearings on all main axes. The use of standard and well proven components guarantee maximum load ratings and easy availability. - Reduced maintenance: As a standard the robots are equipped with linear bearings with lubrication chains.
