2 Tipuri de microscoape Instrument pentru obtinerea unor imagini marite cu o mare rezolutie a detaliilor. Microscoapele optice si electronice sunt cele mai utilizate Microscoape: acustice - utilizeaza ultrasunete de inalta frecventa Microscoapele cu efect tunel Microscoapele de forta, care formeaza imagini dupa felul probei de a resimti bombardamentele cu particule. Acestea pot mari de milioane de ori, pentru a reda un singur atom.

27 Caracteristicile optice ale aparatelor optice Mărirea transversală a unui aparat optic este dată de raportul: m = it o t unde i t este mărimea imaginii în direcţia perpendiculară pe axa optică, iar o t este mărimea obiectului în aceeaşi direcţie. 30 Rezumat Puterea separatoare se referă la posibilitatea de a vedea prin instrument, ca distincte, două puncte obiect. Ea poate fi determinată fie prin inversul distanţei minime dintre două puncte obiect care mai dau imagini diferite, numită putere separatoare liniară (S l ), fie prin inversul unghiului minim dintre razele care vin de la două puncte obiect care se văd distinct, numită putere separatoare unghiulară (S u ) sau putere de rezoluţie (A). Câmpul optic al unui aparat este regiunea din spaţiu în care sunt conţinute puncte care pot fi văzute pentru o poziţie oarecare a aparatului. Există un câmp în adâncime şi un câmp în lărgime.
31 Lentile. Formula lentilelor Prin asociaţia a doi dioptri cu suprafeţe curbe obţinem ceea ce se numeşte o lentilă. In particular, aceste suprafeţe pot fi sferice, plane sau cilindrice. Dreapta care uneşte centrele dioptrilor constituie axul optic al lentilei. Dacă distanţa dintre vârfurile V 1 şi V 2 ale celor doi dioptri este neglijabilă faţă de celelalte lungimi care intervin în formarea imaginilor, spunem că avem o lentilă subţire. De fapt, la acestea ne vom referi în cele ce urmează. După proprietăţile lor, lentilele pot fi clasificate în convergente şi divergente

33 Poziţia imaginii unui obiect într-o lentilă, în cazul unui fascicul de raze paraxial, este dată de relaţia: 1 1 n p2 p1 n1 R1 R2 unde p 1 şi p 2 sunt distanţele de la obiect şi imagine până la lentilă, R 1 şi R 2 sunt razele de curbură a celor doi dioptri, iar n 2 este indicele de refracţie al mediului lentilei şi n 1 al mediului exterior lentilei. O mărime caracteristică lentilelor este convergenţa lentilelor, definită astfel: Unitatea de măsură a convergenţei este 1 dioptria, care este convergenţa unei C= f lentile cu distanţa focală f de un metru.
34 Din relaţia (7.57) se pot defini distanţele focale ale lentilelor: pentru p 1 = -, rezultă p 2 = f 2 şi deci: f = 2 1 n n R R sau, dacă p 2 = +, rezultă p 1 = f 1 şi: f= 1 n n R R din care se observă că f 1 = f 2 = f. In acest caz putem scrie: p p f 2 1 care reprezintă formula lentilelor subţiri, relaţie în care f se ia cu semnul plus dacă focarul este real şi cu semnul minus dacă focarul este virtual.

Privit însă din punct de vedere al opticii geometrice, el constituie un sistem optic format din trei medii transparente: umoarea apoasă, cristalinul şi umoarea sticloasă (fig.7.48.). Acestea se găsesc în interiorul globului ocular mărginit în exterior de o membrană fibroasă rezistentă numită sclerotică care are o zonă transparentă în faţă (n = 1,377), numită corneea transparentă.
