This Virtual laboratory allows students to look at various types of waveform (AM, FM, square etc.) as well hear what those waveforms sound like. This simple animation (with audio) helps students understand the basic principles of magnetism. This screen shows a fault finding circuit (Institution versions only). Students first investigate the circuit using virtual meters and an oscilloscope to make sure they understand the circuit operation. Up to 4 pre-designed faults are then inserted and students need to use the virtual instruments to find the faults
