1 5.1 Test Specification FCC Part 27.50(a)(1)(A) 5. Average Power Spectral Density 5.2 Test Procedure The method that used as detailed in FCC KDB Average PSD in any 1MHz must not exceed 400 Watts (56dBm) and in any 5MHz, must not exceed 2000 Watts (63dBm). The E.U.T. antenna terminal was connected to the Spectrum Analyzer through an external attenuator, D.C block and an appropriate coaxial cable (loss=31.1db). Duty cycle was calculated for total EIRP (1.9dB). The E.U.T. RF output was modulated. Special attention was taken to prevent Spectrum Analyzer RF input overload. The Spectrum Analyzer was set to 1000 khz RBW. The output power level was measured at the low, mid and high channels of each modulation. For PSD in any 5MHz the equation: 10 log 5MMMMMM = 7dddd. This factor was 1MMMMMM added to the test results in 1MHz.
